Ado's inspiration was other Japanese cover singers and Vocaloid. She has said she gets ideas from other mediums, including random songs she hears. She also enjoys watching how people outside of Japan react to her music and figuring out what she can do to appeal to a worldwide audience based on those reactions. So never know she may have even seen this.

- I truly needed that levity, this song is so heavy, honestly I consider it one of her heaviest.
She HAS performed live on stage at concerts- behind a gause screen so you can only see her outline tho!
If you want to see her wave her hands about etc as she sings watch that Usseewa piano version you mention- that is her singing it- reflected in a distorted blurred out mirror with a difty camera. You cant make out much- except general form- and she is wearing her school outfit - and that she gets very animated and passionate when she sings :)
But its the best look at her we have. Plus he voice is even better than in the studio version imo!

@@Mistahtokyo There is no doubt that ADO is a first-rate singer. But this song seems to be a song for people with rich life experience after middle age. I think it is a song mixed with sexiness, sadness, anger, and joy.
I love Shiina, but this cover is just so much more powerful and gives me hard feelings with every listen.
