He seems to ignore details in the movies that undermine his own arguments, I mean there are plenty of problems with the story that can be criticized, but he misses a lot of those. It's also always safe to assume with adaptations that a lot of details are changed or removed entirely, and there are a lot of details missing in the Harry Potter films. And they are for kids, but kids were growing up as the movies released, so the movies got more mature along with the fans(something I wish Pokemon would do, like not entirely but just one Pokemon game with a more mature story and deeper gameplay mechanics would be nice).

The "How does he keep losing to a bunch of kids" argument really isn't valid if you have seen all of these and know the reasons. Quirrell couldn't touch Harry because of the love protection. Tom Riddle as a teen never really returned, he was still just a "memory" when Harry stopped him, and Voldemort didn't want the death eaters to kill Harry cause he wanted to do it himself, and he couldn't because of their wands being twins. I'm guessing you've never read the books given your views on Voldemort.
Voldemort's motivations are all in there and quite frankly, it's very terrifying. In the books, his father was a muggle who was essentially kidnapped by Voldemort's mother when she got him to drink love potion. So when Voldemort was conceived he immediately lost the ability to love because he was not made 'willingly'. As such, he has no understanding of basic human emotions. When he realised this, he made it his ultimate goal to wipe out all non-magic people and to create a 'new world order'. He wiped out his father's side of the family and murdered thousands of people in order to achieve this. Also, at the age of 15 he decided he was going live forever and knew that he had to kill to do it. I dunno, his motives scare the crap out of me 😂
But, I can also understand where you're coming from, because this isn't discussed in the films.

I’m really glad you’re continuing this series of showing your family popular movies. I can’t wait to see what they think of the rest of the franchise. But can I just say one thing?
I love this movie series, I love the LOTR trilogy and I love Star Wars. But they aren’t comparable. I like them for different reasons. I don’t try to compare these movies to anything else because what’s the point? I like them, they’re fun and they remind me of my childhood. They vary in quality and sure you could say other movies were made better or had better stories but why does that matter? Is this making sense? Like if you enjoy a movie, that’s great. I’m glad you’re having fun. Why do we have to be like “no you can’t have enjoyed this because my opinion is that it sucks and this other movie is way better”? Just let people like things!
Anyway, my personal ranking of the series is as follows:
    1. Prisoner of Azkaban
    2. Deathly Hallows Part 2 (fight me idc)
    3. Order of the Phoenix
    4. Deathly Hallows Part 1
    5. Goblet of Fire
    6. Half-Blood Prince
    7. Philosopher’s Stone (Sorcerer for the Americans)
    8. Chamber of Secrets

im just gonna explain why harry defeated voldemort so easily when he was 1, 11 and 12. first of all, when harry was eleven wasnt actually him that defeated voldemort, it was his mom. his mom sacrificed herself for him, and that made a magic that turned impossible for voldemort kill harry. thats why when voldemort used the avada spell it didnt worked. so the avada returned do voldemort, but voldemort didnt died cuz he had his horcruxes, but he became a ghost. so when harry was eleven, he fought with ghost voldemort, he was weak, and when harry burned voldemort it was again because of harrys mom. when he was 12, tom riddle wasnt the voldemort that everyone was scared of, tom riddle was a part of a soul of him, it was a part of a soul of voldemort when voldemort was 16. so yeah, he was teenager (and not even a real teenager, he was a part of soul of one). so i hope that expains to you a little why was that easy. and so sorry for my bad english,, im not fluent lol

Fitzhugh123 also the whole reason Voldermort is going after Harry isn’t just “because his motivation is he is evil” either. At the start it was out of fear for a prophecy, then as it went on his need to kill Harry became far more erratic, how was he supposed to amass a following if he can’t kill this one child, how can he aspire fear as long as there is someone who can oppose him with impunity, how can he be viewed as powerful if Harry Potter is his match. He doesn’t just want to kill Harry, he *needs* to in order to prove himself to his followers
