Lovely as always Vikki -- *love* watching you gel print ❤-- & yes, we seem to have acquired a disease whose symptoms have to do with seeing the world around us in terms of potential gel plate pattern making (which probably will shortly be given a DSM code) 🌝
Thank you, amherst88, YES! I don't see it as a harmful condition, however...lol!
Dot from UK
I love how you can print light over dark and dark over light paint, it makes very interesting Gelli prints, thank you for sharing. Love from the UK, Dot x.
Dot, thank you for watching and your lovely comment!
😍 love those circles!!
Thank you, so fun! That stencil is from Dick Blick and I cut it down, I use it a LOT!
Thanks for explaining your choices in color and how you mix them. And how to fix when it's not quite right. Great video as always!
I’m so happy it was helpful! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thankyou for the great ideas !
My pleasure! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Love those!!!
Thanks very much, Laurel!
I really enjoyed watching watching you create these prints. I love your circles, they added such a wonderful touch. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks very much, Karen!
@@VikkiReed You're welcome.
So. Now it has happened. I can no longer resist, I really want to make Gelliprints. To do that, I need to redesign my painting space a bit, I've just set that in motion, and then I'll get started and pour myself a proper gel plate. And it's all your fault, Vikki. 😊
I learn so much from your videos, thanks for that! And you can see how much you enjoy it yourself. A "wow" like that from you saves my day. Thanks for that too.
Eva, I'm laughing...should I say I'm sorry? No, I won't...because you will have so much fun with your gelli plate! To be totally clear, I purchased mine, (I like the Gel Press Plates), and I have no experience on the homemade plates. I'm so glad you're learning a lot and that you're feeling inspired, I continue to learn, and share, and also find ways to put the gelli prints to use, from crafting ideas to fine art creations, because we need to keep the creativity flowing! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Fantastic ❤
Thank you, Melissa!
Love your work 💖 xx
Thanks very much, Lou Lou!
Love your videos! So much inspiration for me, thanks a lot.
Hi from Hamburg 🥰
Hi Angie, thanks so much, I'm glad you feel inspired!
Thank you for giving me permission to cut up my stencils. I will be looking at them in a new light. Can't wait to see how you create with your new gelli prints.
Marcia, wonderful! Thanks so much for that, and yes, the video on "Plot Twist" is coming soon
I clicked on one of your links for the supplies of this video and it took me to something way off subject and it was did not go to where you intended it to go. Thought maybe you'd want to check that out. It was the link you provided on where to get the stencil. Anyway other than that lovely video. Thank you so much. 🙂
Thank you & I have updated the description.
Would love to see your interpretation of neutral collage papers using your gelli plate. I have a bunch of really colorful ones and am working on some neutral to use together! Love your work! TFS!
Kathy, great suggestion! I will play with that, yes, definitely a need for neutrals!
I don’t do neutral!
Hi new subscriber. I ordered my gelli plate a couple of days ago. So excited to start learning.
Hi Mickey, that's wonderful! So many fun creations ahead of you, and thank you for subscribing!
And yes, I often cut apart stencils. Or at a minimum cut around the ones that are smaller so I don’t get a Square image when it could be a star or flower or whatever.
Yes, S.K., exactly, I want to avoid the square border, and great work on that!
Been binge watching your videos, so enjoyable to see. I have this stencil too, but never thought of cutting the elements out, I love that idea and how versatile it is. Definitely want to see how to use prints as collage. I invested in some Carnival Tissue and have made a bunch of prints to use as collage in paintings, just haven't tried it yet :) So much fun to watch you printing. Thanks
Thanks so much for binge watching and commenting, I appreciate you! I love that stencil so much, but it never would have worked for me as configured...I have several videos on using collage in your paintings, I'll list a few of them here... @@VikkiReed Oh my gosh, thank you so much for this. I'm going to watch them all! Am in the process of watching the Mixed Media Flower vid now. Thanks again, just love your work. OTW home from the dentist this morning I had to stop twice to pick bits of foliage (LoL)
@@KathyBrooksArt Kathy, this is awesome! Sounds like you are really feeling inspired and seeing new opportunities everywhere! Exciting! Thanks for letting me know!
I always love your gelli videos, your colors are amazing
Mary, thanks so much for watching and commenting!
I just love watching your videos !! Such freedom with the colors ! I just spent a rainy Northern CA day making Fun Cards with my gelli prints. It’s amazing how many good-looking sections can come out of a sheet that doesn’t work overall. Enjoy your Holidays ☃️
S.K., yes! The gelli plate brings so much joy, thank you for watching and commenting, Happy Holidays to you as well!
Wow Vikki just love your videos so gifted and love your colour combination ❤where do you buy material from many thanks ,
Thanks so much, Ann! I get most of my supplies from Amazon, and I've started an Amazon page which features many of my most used items. I'm putting the link here, if you choose to purchase through this page, I may receive a small commission, but it does not impact the price you pay, and it helps me! www.amazon.com/shop/vikkireed/list/3Q6Z0TMR09B3D?linkCode=spc&tag=undefined&domainId=influencer&asc_contentid=amzn1.ideas.3Q6Z0TMR09B3D
Qual tinta você usa?? A Tinta Acrílica ??
Sonia, yes, acrylic paint, specifically Golden Fluid Acrylic, as listed in the information section below the video
I'm pretty sure your "weeds" are actually a papyrus plant
Linda, YES! That absolutely looks right, thank you!
@@VikkiReed fyi...papyrus also makes a very interesting paint brush.😁
@@lindavan5330 That is a fantastic tip, I will experiment with it and it may even make a great video, thank you!
