    5:40 You noticed things grow like crazy here in the summer? Its because of the extra sunlight.. as its starts hours before and lasts hours after the southern regions the amount of energy plants can absorb is massive.
    Thats why you see this explosive growth each spring. I guess you've noticed if you've been here in the transition.

    You made your apartment so cozy and light!
    Mon, do you still have your balcony garden? It was always my dream to grow mint, parsley and strawberries on my window :)

    Where I live in California it can reach up to 40 degrees Celsius! Summers here are crazy hot unless you live by the coast.😕

    Oh Mon, your new apartment looks amazing! Also, your thesis piece in the kitchen is beautiful. How did you make it? I've wanted to create a frame like that filled with dried Australian flowers to give to my mother in law. Do you have any tips and tricks? Thanks!

    Hey! Congratulations on your new apartment. It looks really awesome and bright!
    I hope it starts to feel like home for you soon.
    I didn't know that there could be high temperatures like those, 30, 31, etc. It's nice now and then.
    If everything goes well, I'll be in Norway in a couple of months.
    Que tudo corra bem! 👌

      Bruno APJ Thank you!! it's not so normal to reach the 30°c. But so far we have been having a great summer weather in Oslo! Good luck for your moving process. I'm sure you will love it here :)

      I get that it can be a bit lonely and overwhelming sometimes, but time fixes everything ;)

    HI! You know, your flat looks great, I like your travelling map and the living room (the work table is amazing). I also have this place where we wash the clothes (at the first floor). In my country, we have this place only for students, in private apartments, each family have their washing machine.

      @MonAmieDesserts  6 лет назад +1

      We also had a private washing machine before, but at this house the one from the building is really good, and the neighbors are friendly, so we felt there was no point on spending money on a new one :P

    We moved to Oslo in May and I started to work in the same month! It has been very crazy days for us too. :P
    Hope to meet you soon and I sent a Linkedin message to you! Best! P

    Congratulations! I may be imagining things, but it sounds a lot like you have adopted a Norwegian pitch when speaking English 😁

    Not to be a buzzkill here, but those living-room windows look very cold and drafty (they look single-paned). I would recommend that you have them replaced with insulated windows ASAP, if you can.
    Otherwise, it looks really nice and refurbished.
    A tiny WC like that was very common some years ago, as older houses tended to not have them installed. So when technology advanced so much that ordinary people could afford to install modern toilets, they simply did so in a broom closet or something

      Biggus D it's a very old apartment, from the 60s if I'm not mistaken, so it's normal the windows are not double. We are renting it so I don't think it's our choice to change them :P but the apartment is actually very warm, even without the heaters on ;)

    • @BiggusD77
      @BiggusD77 6 лет назад

      Ah yes I thought you bought it.
      Hehe yes, it is warm now, when it is +30 degrees outside. -15 degrees, however, is an entirely different thing.
      I suspect you will be able to feel the cold gust through the window on those days. Good thing you've got a fireplace, central heating (hopefully included in the rent) and a ton of woolen blankets, then :)
      Since this is totally party-pooping by now, I'll finish by telling you that you're a real artist and that I would like to see more of your work.

    Hej! Olá! Belo apt :) estou curiosa se tu alguma vez uzas o cabelo caracolado? Eu antes não sabia como fazer meus caracóis e andava sempre a escovar e ficava no massimo ondulado. Parabéns pra tudo novo e bom na vida ❤️

      Natta Lee obrigada! O meu cabelo é mais ondulado, e fica muito facilmente liso. Neste dia realmente estava a ter um bad hair day hahaha
