I lived most of my teenage years in Punchy and will be sad to see the trains go, reminds me so much of my high school years just jumping trains to go everywhere and anywhere with friends.
Hi Phil, thanks for another awesome video. My wife used to have relatives living at Punchbowl in years gone by. I can't remember how far they lived from the station. Love the lifts on all the stations. The lifts were something that didn't exist when I was there. from memory, I don't think the stairs were sheltered years ago. There seems to be quite a number of changes to this station. When the Metro starts running. The automated voice announcements will even need to be changed, as after Sydenham heading to the city, the Metro goes a very different direction. Anyway, all the very best. Rob in Melbourne Australia.
Sup bud I am from Melbourne but I have some questions everyday I watch your videos because it reminds me of me being in Sydney so since now I like your videos now because it reminds me in Sydney again :)
Thanks, again, Phil. Do you know Craig in the wheelchair? I saw him at the Crows nest metro Open Day. I ha a couple of photos of him interested. I believe he does spotting and videos and stuff. too if you know how I can find his stuff. I don't think Punchbowl had a lift prior to this upgrade. Punchbowl, Hurlstone Park and a couple of others were missing lifts until recent upgrades, Pretty sure. Cheers, Thanks again.
