- Most of us know the feeling well... as we grow up and fill our days with more busyness, time seems to fly by faster and faster. No surprise really, given how hectic our tech-fueled, multi-tasking lives can be and the speed at which everything seems to happen these days.
We need to find ways to slow down a little. Once we strip away the noise of everyday life, our perspective shifts and we experience life in a whole new way. It allows us to better appreciate the events and people around us, rather than feeling like we're living our days in a blur.
It doesn't require a change of life, but rather a change of mind.

As did I! This little film was word for word exactly how I feel about life and this world. The worst thing that ever happened to my health was multitasking 😞 I so realized that I was missing the seasons and the phases of the moon as well , this is not life.

I'm near too the end, so much time wasted. A life of nothing. Tired, with a future of work until death. The system doesn't let you rest or have time too, see the world, your surroundings, friends. These videos, have brought some comfort to me, but also regret. I so wish i had this wisdom. When I started out in life. Love this site

This is so true we moved from 2g to 5g in these process we forgot the virtue of being patient and appreciative ,as i work for 9hrs i dnt even get a chance to spend time with family just work sleep repeat ,such videos shows how much we are losing by going very fast pace..

I also watched this 3 yrs ago. I'm too now living vastly different far-off place of peaceful wildness. This encapsulates everything I needed & wanted my life to be. Still releasing vestiges non-sensical societal noise we grew up believing, & yet so very very blessed to be living these days of a beautiful life!

This channel made me realize that to be living a good and full life, you always need to have kettle of hot water within reach so you can make yourself a large cup of warm tea. This element is included in virtual all the videos as it is essential to being a real living human being.

Fantastic video, the main problem of todays life in the modern world is the continuous hurry and the multitasking especially in our working places but also in our private lifes. People have forgotten how to take rest. And concerning the so important contact with nature we have to rebuild our cities made of stones and cement containing very little nature.Thanks for your videos.❤.

Slowing down is difficult to do nowadays, especially living in an urban city. Everyday routine to run the same duty(work, family) in the life circle. Many of us like to live the "Slowing down" life, but temporarily some can live like that. The others can not do it. Some don't like to live slow down because of the character of that person. That kind of person feels boring if slow down. Now I can't live this "slowing down" life but try my best to be free to do something happy and something my favorite. Makes myself happy is what I can do now.
Thanks for sharing some people's life stories. They know how to live and enjoy life.

Learning the pace of nature has been a valuable lesson. Unlearning what I've learned is like peeling off heavy layers of worry, doubt and unrealistic expectations that don't serve me. I've been my own worst critic. Each day a little less. Beginning with gratefulness.

Interesting, through the early years of life we are pushed along succeed do your best you can't fail you can do this etc etc, as we grow and become individuals we make our own choices not always for the best but we learn from our mistakes , being a mother of four, now adults leading their own lives, which I am truely grateful for, it's my time time to be me, practice my own believes live as I choose without boundaries, grow my own vegetables plant my piece of earth and give thanks everyday for what I have , my choices, my slow life, my natural communication with all that is. Beautiful. Thank you so much. The words spoken about creating an empty shell resonate strongly for me. I went into burn out in 2000 after trying for too long to do too much for too many others. It took me nearly 4 years to find my way through that but it taught me the importance of having balance in my life . I also learnt that it is ok to say .....no......! It is not being selfish but it is actually self love. It is replenishing the well of life in order to create wellness and congruent presence.
@Mya Purple - And you're definately not alone. I think too many of us are racing so quickly through life, that we don't even know what it feels like to slow down for a moment. Unfortunately it often does take a physical/emotional crash, for us to realise the need to take our foot off the gas. But too often we don't learn from that. @David Shu - They are speaking Afrikaans. The language evolved from the Dutch vernacular, spoken by the Dutch settlers in South Africa, during the course of the 18th century. Such an expressive language. :)
