Huge "Caruso". One - the one - of the best songs of Lucio Dalla. I remember the duet Dalla - Pavarotti...honour to Piero, Gianluca e Ignazio. And thanks Maria, 100% good sound.
I don't like when people say one is better than the other. They all are extremely talented and could be successful on their own. However they would never have become the worldwide sensation they are as solo acts. Its their magic as a trio that makes them the worldwide sensation they have become. I hope they never part. They can do their solos. but they are unequaled as a group. as we saw with the Beatles, their magic was as a group, when they split up they didn't come near the same success they had together . this is their destiny and I think they love it.
Gian Luca has a great velvety baritone, and those that love Ignacio’s voice is because his range is the most common therefore, the most pleasant to the ear. Piero, however has a spectacular voice that often goes un-noticed because he is not quite as attractive as the others. Go back and look at the 2nd PBS special from Miami. He sang Placido’s part wonderfully, sounding very much like him. In addition when he sang his part of Maria, (Gian Luca’s solo) the audience went wild. Also look again at the tribute to Jose Jose, Piero sold that song. If he had the right manager he could go far in a solo career. I don’t want to see them separate either, but I also do not like that Piero does not get his due.
