They're strung together but there is a musical interlude (Arranged version of the town melody) per 3 songs. I excluded them. You can't get a CD of house or NES version. You can only listen them.
I said the house versions (also called aircheck), these are the live versions. That's why I mentioned it here, since you already have one version you might be able to get the other (well technically "an other" since there's also music box versions).
it seems to switch between the gyroids and your town tune during the interludes. they'll project your flag and your "id" picture on the screen when they play your town tune.
The game is about hard work and patience (although people skip days anyway) so you start out bare and boring, but the game fleshes out and you get better stores and other goods as time goes on
Wait until you finally upgrade nook's cranny. And then the day after the new upgraded store has opened Shrunk will come to you asking to build Club LOL.

Please forgive me if this is a dumb question, I've been avoiding as much New Leaf stuff as possible but decided to listen after the newest English trailer again. ;^^ Are these songs actually strung together like this in game, or did you just put samplings of the music together? Can you get/listen to entire "House Mix" versions of each song? Thanks in advance! =D

They're called Thick Glasses, they're pretty common to find in the shop actually. I see them almost everyday in my Able Sister's shop.
I remember last year how my town tune was the Megaman theme. I nearly screamed with excitement when I heard it remixed on house night. So cool!
