Hi there.. Well what i can advice to you is that use the same mhz and ddr ram type/choice of gb(8gb).. If your laptop ram slot have 2 slot then each can add 4gb of ram in total of 8gb.. But also can add up to 16gb.. I will not advice you to try from different ram type or mhz as some are not compatible.. Have a nice day
You can create a bootable windows installer for it.. Please look for the step how to create bootable windows installer on other channels.. There are many doing the video about it

Can use ssd as primary hard disk.. And the existing hdd used as secondary drive.. But need to be converted using hdd caddy drive SATA replacing tu dvd drive if u have the cd drive version.. If not only replace the hdd to ssd..

Depending on what purpose the laptop for... If it is for gaming, you got to find the high end type.. But if just assignment stuff u can get a regular one less than RM600.. Do see if the motherboard in good n working condition, batteries,the hardware and others.. Hope this info can help u a bit
