We’re glad you told us you’re using an expensive camera, Brian. Presumably you shot this footage with a Kodak Brownie and reserved the good one for the journey home.
It was an expensive camera...once. Unfortunately it's seen a lot of abuse in my rucksack from Jeanie McIntosh's driving and gave up the ghost circa 1927.
I'm almost certain it's just Chipping brook which joins the Loud further down Green Lane, the Loud originating at the other side of Leagram. The Loud then joins the Hodder and the Hodder the Ribble. And they all flood Preston.

Yes...you're right. Rivers and brooks and stuff tend to get a bit complicated. There's about half a dozen versions of the Wyre, if memory serves. 🙂
I’ve often visited Lizzie, but I’ve never been inside the church.
It was locked when we visited, I think. It's a sad indictment of the times that so many of them are nowadays.
I'm going to start a Jeanie McIntosh support/fan group.
A 'Save Jeanie McIntosh' Campaign.
Is Jeanie McIntosh real, or is she really a McGuffin?
Tragically she's all too real...although she might also be subject to slight exaggeration. 🤪
