The Aztecs did it to terrorize conquered villages, taking their children from them. The Celts really weren't doing "human sacrifice" so much as executing prisoners. The Carthaginians are the only ones who are reputed to have perhaps done this to control population size, and that involved the sacrifice of large numbers of babies during times of famine etc. So historically, human sacrifice isn't performed upon normal members of society but rather the vulnerable members of it, eg. babies, prisoners, etc. If implemented, it would be unlikely to target us, and the government, unless the nation is very small, wouldn't likely control population effectively by sacrificing one family every week ... in developed societies, fertility tends to shift downwards anyway, affected by the resulting high price of living delaying family formation, etc. Unless the government was wiping out one entire _extended_ family every week 😱! That would do it. But these are dream-worlds, so our usual logic doesn't matter. But maybe such thoughts serve as magical incantations to wake us from dream worlds 🤔.

I do think that the world is close to the world of The Giver, very dystopian and with no color or emotions. There's also the problem of them finding out you're colorful/not being able to paint fast enough. Good choice tho! Prob the best out if them tbh lol

This happend to me one time, I realised that I didn't really wake up from a bad dream but I was dreaming that I woke up. I was so freaked out and after a while figured out that I wasn't really awake ... I woke up and freaked out and haven't told anyone about this ever but this made me flashback to the fear I felt back then.
it happened to me too 3 TIMES, it freaked me out the fact that i "woke up" every time i realized i was still dreaming, like if my mind was trying to trick me so for a sec i thought my mind was going to trap me forever💀

I used to lucid dream all the time. I would wake myself when i knew something bad was going to happen. Eventually, it got more difficult to wake up from those dreams since I would just wake up in another dream over and over. Even pinching myself in my dreams didn't work. I became super paranoid and depressed because of it. Luckily, when i moved out, the lucid nightmares stopped and my life went back to normal

I had quite the same dream.. Different places thought my lives with people I love and horrors happening to them. The scariest thing is that time was going right. It was early morning before the sunrise and then sunset when I wake up it was evening in reality too.
