You have only ever really seen how you look in a regular mirror or photograph, that’s normal to you, so when you look in this true mirror of course it’s going to be uncomfortable and weird. It only looks weird because it’s not what your used to, from everyone else’s perspective it would be normal , nothing has changed. You just think you look bad because it’s uncanny and does not feel right as it feels like you’re looking at a different person than yourself.

When you look at a normal mirror, the way we usually see our selves, we are seeing a reflection this is the reversed way everyone else sees us. These true mirrors just reverse your reflection so you see what you actually look like. This is also why we often don't like how we look in pictures, because we're just not used to it. Believe me, girl, you are gorgeous, you've got nothing to worry about.
I never understood these things because whenever I look at the mirror with somebody next to me I see them in the mirror exactly how I see them irl, which means that they see me exactly the way I see myself in the mirror. It’s as easy as that.

i have a mirror on my medicine cabinet right by my mirror in my bathroom so i just have yo slightly open it and i can see the "true mirror" at first i hated it then realized what made me hate it (my hair wasnt symmetrical) so i just started doing makeup, hair, and doing basically everything in front of it! it seriously has helped my confidence a lot so i dont think the true mirror is a completely bad thing!!!

I discovered it a long time ago. I just go to the mirror take another mirror and look at myself through that second mirror. It creates the same effect like the "true mirror ". I always do that before I go out, it helps to make your hair or makeup more symmetrical. For anyone who doesn't understand: when you look at yourself in the mirror, you see yourself backwards, but apparently this mirror shows you how people see you, they see you right and not revesed. I don't like these mirrors because of how crazy people go, they're literally crying because of their face, anc you don't even have to worry because you think you look ugly because you are used to seeing yourself backwards, but everyone else sees you gorgeous! Legit I was happy when I saw myself. Idk. I had this horrible image of myself and what I saw in the mirror was so different than the person I had built in my head. She was almost like a stranger and I realized I’m more than my insecurities. I’m unique and while I may not be conventionally beautiful I am a human being deserving of self love. It's only so shocking because we aren't used to seeing ourselves that way. So guys, I move to this new house last year, and in my bathroom there is a big front mirror and two side mirrors (like hers in the video, just bigger and hanging on walls. The first time I saw my reflected face, I was scared because it look sooo weird and asymmetrical. But after looking at it for a year and a half, I see it not much different than my face in the front mirror. So you should know that your face is not ugly, it’s just new and your brain is not used to it.
Actually when i see people reflection in the mirror and then see them in person, there's not much of different or even they look the same. So don't worry, what you see in the regular mirror is just the same with how other see you in person. It won't be like beauty and beast.

People who look into the mirror: you are not actually ugly. You look like that to yourself because its different from what youre used to, so its uncanny. But other people who have seen you like that your whole life do not have that experience and so you dont look 'ugly'

So guys, I move to this new house last year, and in my bathroom there is a big front mirror and two side mirrors (like hers in the video, just bigger and hanging on walls. The first time I saw my reflected face, I was scared because it look sooo weird and asymmetrical. But after looking at it for a year and a half, I see it not much different than my face in the front mirror. So you should know that your face is not ugly, it’s just new and your brain is not used to it.
As someone with a symmetrical face, i see this as a win

Actually when i see people reflection in the mirror and then see them in person, there's not much of different or even they look the same. So don't worry, what you see in the regular mirror is just the same with how other see you in person. It won't be like beauty and beast.
