  • Space and time are inseparable, and integrating the temporal aspect of your data into your spatial analysis leads to powerful discoveries. This workshop will build on the cluster analysis methods discussed in Spatial Data Mining I by presenting advanced techniques for analyzing your data in the context of both space and time. We will cover space-time pattern mining techniques including aggregating your temporal data into a space-time cube, emerging hot spot analysis, local outlier analysis, best practices for visualizing your space-time cube, and strategies for interpreting and sharing your results. Come learn how to use these new techniques to get the most out of your spatiotemporal data.

i would add near and recent things are more alike ... unless there is a barrier. Like a highway or a change in policy.

Regarding the geoprocessing history, is there an incognito mode for my more sordid geoprocessing?

At 58:40, I think you may have the upper left and lower right quadrants reversed in terms of H-L / L-H if you're trying to use a Moran's scatterplot as the basis for that picture- which I think you're trying to do but I could be wrong. (Just looks like everything would be swapped to the opposite quadrant locations, so that upper left is labeled L-H.) In other words, if x is the bin observation and y is the spatial lag, you should have a low observation/bin surrounded by high neighbor bins in the upper left.

Thanks for this video! Im trying to figured out the space time cube. Whatever which field Im giving as a variable in the tool "create space time Cube for defined location" I am getting this error... ERROR 110114 You must provide at least one Variable or Summary Field. Which I am doing.. I dont have any null values...
