Legitimately one of my favorite things about the Alola League was how Ash's Torracat vs Kukui's Incineroar was handled. How Torracat won against Incineroar and only evolved AFTER winning. That gave me chills when I watched it the first time. So I wrote this song with that in mind; how Torracat put his entire heart and soul on the battlefield, standing back up no matter how many times he was beaten down, with his pride on the line... so that nothing could hold him down.

Incineroar is my favorite Ash Fire Type. Sure, Infernape, Charizard, and Pignite all had sad backstories, but Incineroar wasn’t betrayed, he lost someone he cared about deeply.
Ash’s Incineroar I feel like is the Ash Pokémon I understand the most out of Ash’s Fire Types, because I know what it’s like to lose someone you care for like a lot of others.
