The thing is, if you remember when garland was with petey and hoglander, those guys were insanely good and got tons of chances. But now he isnt getting into those positions as much. I think they could swap petey with lindholm so that you give petey the much needed better smarter wingers, and lindy can help to get hog and mickey going

The Lindholm line is producing and controlling possession. You put Petey on there you risk disrupting that possession dominance. His tiny frame makes him an ineffective cycle player. Too easy to pin & disrupt. Lindholm is stronger on the puck and that lends itself better to chemistry with garland/Joshua.

He's playing hurt most definitely. And he's a tough tough guy in fact. But when your hurt you know and avoid contact and the peripheral vision disappear and tunnel vision substitutes.
Tocchet isn't smart enough to understand he can still use him on special teams and not so much 5 on 5 . Sheltered minutes until he's healthy is better otherwise he needs to sit.
He's going to be targeted by Perry and Kane and someone's going to have to answer the bell on those 2 douchnozzles

9:25 - "normally when he's on top of his game he has the ability to get to the inside" -"right now all his dekes are getting checked" ..... annndddddd that's playoff hockey for you. The tighter game is exposing his weaknesses. This IS Pettersson when the shots/passes aren't connecting. His puck skill and IQ compensate for a game that is otherwise not NHL level. 12:07 ... the puck battles... heavy on the puck... going down so easily... .... yes bro, that is the Elias Pettersson experience. He's thin as a bird, leans on his toes/tripods then falls to his knees, and he will never be a puck hound. Guy on the right nailed it that he's not a skater, not physical, and he relies on technical puck skill/IQ to be great. He will never be "more assertive away from the puck", because he can't. His body and his skating/balance aren't NHL level. Canucks better get him another Kuzmenko or move him before that NTC - dude is getting *exposed*.
