This sound quality is ridiculous. Once he started talking I jumped because I thought it was somebody right next to me. That's a damn good mic you have.
I'm officially done with Razr stuff. They focus on advanced features and neglect the basics. I don't need gold-plated USB, but I do need my buttons to work.
GamersrageFTW 132 You are obviously trying to attack against Razer, I am in no means trying to defend Razer, im just saying that there's no possible scenario where a product from Razer breaks after 1 day. And now don't get mean you shit head
I feel stupid, early in the video when your phone went off, I thought it was mine so I began looking for it forgetting I was using it to watch the video.. :p
Great clicking sounds and whispers on this one! I could be wrong, but I believe "claw grip" typically refers to a more extreme grasp in which your fingers are bent dramatically and you're actually left pushing the two primary mouse buttons with the very tips of your fingers. I've seen your method (which I prefer as well) commonly referred to as a "fingertip grip" - gentler than the "claw" but still with more finger action in moving the mouse than the "palm" grip. This information could save your life one day.
I defer to your expertise on the topic of mouse grip sub-categories, and I will remember this for the day when I'm held at gunpoint and asked to accurately describe my mousing style. Thank you, internet person, for thinking about my safety.
Thanks man! Trust me, I understand just how hard it is to keep up with all the great ASMR content out there. There are so many ASMRtists that I enjoy, but I only end up watching a fraction of their vidoes because there are more videos than I have time. Glad you stopped by to check this one out though :)
They have somehow disabled that if the scroll scrolls too fast it kinda disables it in game you know? Because if it would work bhopping would be so freaking easy.
Got one of these for christmas and I've really been enjoying it. Being that it's my first gaming mouse I can't really compare it to anything else, but it has definitely been great for me. I hope you've found it as responsive and reliable as I have!
Mine's been flawless so far. I liked my Mamba a lot, but I think I'm liking this one even more. It feels even more accurate, if that's possible, without the slightest hint of input lag or acceleration. It's just feels really sharp. I like the ergonomics too, very comfortable.
My wife just got this for me for Xmas... sooo happy with it. It replaced my Razer Imperator that crapped out on me. (Surprise, surprise... my left click went out as well. You can clean it, but once it starts happening, it's never the same again.) Thanks for the unboxing, man! Enjoy your Core! heh
Funny to hear your Imperator died in exactly the same way. The more I hear from people, the more it confirms my belief that Razer's build quality just isn't where it needs to be. Glad you're enjoying the G502 though, your wife made a good choice! I've been loving it so far :)
***** Poor build quality indeed. I've owned both the 1800dpi/3500dpi models of the deathadder, and both developed issues registering clicks after only months.
***** that just seems so weird to me. I have had my razer lycosa keyboard for years and it still hasn't failed. Same with my Razer naga. Both are still in excellent functioning condition. I got my naga 3 years ago and my lycosa 6 months before my naga.
Just adding. A few great uses for the magnet. One is well a magnet lol. Can use to hold a not on fridge or something. Another is that it fits in the weight case. Either to store or so you can place the case on something metal. Also you can place it on bottom of mouse were it opens at. This will raise the mouse up enough so that the sensor does not pick up movement. So if watching a moving, bed, etc you don't bump the table or mouse causing it to come on or bring up the movie info etc.
Chris Danna All excellent ideas, I never thought to put it in the case with the weights. Unfortunately, I threw it out with the packaging. Thanks for the suggestions though!
ah yeah no problem. also hoping to maybe help someone else. I almost did that as well. luckily I took it out thinking whats this for. then realized it was to hold the package shut. so I put it down. took out my mouse and sat it down and lo and behold it stuck to it. so it gave me the idea to see if it would work with it there or not. and it does not unless you press down super hard.
I was too amused by the side-of-box specifications to feel any sort of ASMR. I just imagined the mouse hooked up to an adorable stress-test machine (Rocky IV-style, if you will) where it was determined that this mouse is good for 20,000,000 clicks and 150 miles.
Haha totally. I can just imagine them putting the thing through the wringer, watching it sweat XD. When it said the mouse feet were good for 250 km, I pictured them attaching it to the back bumper of a car and just driving with it until the feet were toast :P
I have a Razer Deathadder for my mouse and I find it to be really great. It's been hailed as one of the most ergonomic mice and I see why now, having owned one for around 6 months. It's nice to see your opinions on Razer products, as all of my peripherals are from them. It'll be nice to see if they last longer than 2 years!
The Mamba shares ergonomics with the Deathadder, they're physically nearly identical. And I agree: it's a wonderfully comfortable mouse. I was sad to see it starting to break, because I really like it. As I mention in the video, Razer's design is top-notch. I just haven't had much luck with their build quality. I hope you have better luck with it!
If it works and that's all you need, then there's nothing wrong with that :). However, I'm of the mind that you spend all your time at the computer in physical contact with your peripherals, so for me it's worth spending up a bit to make sure they're comfortable and enjoyable to use.
I played counter strike with a £8 mouse for 8 months, and i was the best player among my friends, it doesnt matter what mouse or keyboard youre using, just get used to it. I bought the steelseries rival and i love it so far
***** I do actually look for a new mouse, so this might be my next purchase :) I am also looking for a new keyboard, what are you using at the moment? Is it any other keyboards or mice that you could recommend? :)
Daniel Larsson Sorry for the belated reply. I'm currently using the Corsair Vengeance K70 mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches. It's an absolute joy to type on and it's great for gaming if you don't mind keys with substantial travel distance. Each key is individually backlit with a blue LED and can be turned on or off independently, and each keycap and be easily removed which makes it easy to clean. The chassis is brushed aluminum and very sturdy. The only downside I've found so far is that after about a year the LED behind the O key has died, and I'm not sure if it can be easily replaced. It's also on the expensive side; I got mine for about $120, but most good mechanical keyboards are in that range. I'd absolutely recommend it.
You'll have to let me know how well it suits the purpose. I intend on purchasing new PC peripherals so if this mouse is any good I shall put it under my list possible purchases!
Totally valid question. I generally prefer higher sensitivities because I don't like to move my hand much on my mouse pad. I tend to crank up the DPI setting to the max in the mouse driver, and then use the Windows or in-game sensitivity slider to adjust the sensitivity down to where I like it. In this way, I figure I'm getting the highest-resolution response for the most accurate and responsive tracking. Beyond that though, I'm not sure there's a significant benefit to massively high DPI settings. 12000 DPI is just absurd, really. At that level it just becomes a marketing bullet point.
Wix3nZ Yeah using a lower DPI makes it easier to make fine adjustments with your aim since the movement isn't so sensitive. It can be nice to have a button to switch between DPI settings for different situations :)
This is a great mouse, but there are few downsides. It's shaped so you can't vary your grip too much. It's also impossible to use with left hand, if you has to use it for some reason. Scoll wheel is really nice on free mode (i don't know if i can live without it anymore), but it's really clunky in normal mode. Few side buttons could have been placed better, but they are still great and I found use for them even in normal web surfing. 4,5/5 product after using it one week.
+theASMRnerd Nice build! Mine: i5 4690K @ 3.5ghz Asus STRIX GTX 970 @ 1.2GHZ Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB DDR-1866 MSI Z97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB Samsung EVO 500GB SSD NZXT S340 White Corsair CX500
+JammyNodger The BatDoge It might seem intimidating, but PC hardware isn't actually all that hard to learn. And putting together your own PC is a really rewarding experience :)
Would you say this is a good mouse for the claw grip gamer? I use the mouse the same way you do and I have a deathadder at the moment which is massive as I think it is to accommodate my palm. I need a good claw mouse.
Had this mouse for two years. Unfortunately the scroll wheel started giving me input registration issues. But i dug the mouse a lot so i wound up getting the updated rgb version of it. Overall a really great mouse. The weights come in hand for FPS games.
I think the problem with the focus is that you have to put your hand in the entire frame of it. It was focusing on the cord until you blocked it with your hand. I have no idea though, just maybe a suggestion.
Great unboxing man :) really relaxing, but I do have to disagree with you on razer products, I have had my black widow ultimate keyboard for a year and a half and my razer mouse for over 2 years, neither of which show any sign of poor build quality, and I am a heavy gamer, I'd say 3-4 hours a day. But you know those are just my experiences, again great video :)
Fair enough man, glad to hear you've had good experiences with Razer! Maybe I just got unlucky with my products, who knows. As I say in the video, I think their features and designs are great.
I'm in the market for a new mouse, I've got a razer Lachesis at the moment, but it is starting to show wear (had for around 5 years) don't know whether to try Logitech or stay with razer.
As I mention in the video, I've had a few Razer products over the years (including 2 mice), and while I love their design, features, and aesthetics, I have found their build quality to be mediocre at best. Every product has failed on me after a couple of years in one way or another. I don't know if I just got unlucky though, or if that's par for the course. It sounds like your mouse has lasted for a decent while. I can tell you that I'm really loving this new Logitech mouse so far, and I'd definitely recommend it from what I've seen so far...but take that with a grain of salt, because it's only been a day :P
Found this for 40, but it literally switched price back to 80 once Best Buy opened. Cashier said they never sold it for 40 even tho I had a screen shot. Went for the m65 rgb instead.
"For a dude, I've got relatively tiny hands." Man idk if it's just me, but this video had me cracking up the whole time! (btw I've got tiny hands for a dude too lol)
Greetings, my tiny-handed brother. You understand my struggle. Actually, it's not really much of a struggle. Just some mice feel a bit big for my hand. Otherwise, it's kind of beneficial; smaller hands are great for working inside PC cases with tight spaces!
I've always been a playstation guy, but I've been seeing some cool games for pc on steam lately. what is a good computer setup you would recommend for a beginning gamer like myself? I'm looking at buying banished for my first game.
The PC has a ton of cool indie games that you just won't find anywhere else. If you don't mind me asking, about how much are you looking to spend on your PC? That will give me a better idea of what parts to recommend.
***** In that price range you can get a PC that will handle any modern game on high settings without difficulty. Will you be needing just the PC itself, or will you need peripherals too, like a good monitor, mouse, keyboard, and speakers?
***** Hey man, sorry for the delay. Been a busy couple of weeks! I started putting together a parts list for you to consider and got side-tracked. Gonna finish it tonight though, and I'll link it here and you can see what you think!
11 Buttons though? I'm using my Razer DeathAdder (which I need to replace) and I feel thats just the right amount, but in all seriousness, 11 buttons? I could imagine the amount of "Doh wrong button" is going to occur.
11 is more than I'll ever use, although I'm sure some people require even more. At any rate, they're mostly tucked out of the way, so it's unlikely to press them by accident.
Yeah they are all placed indifferent spots so easy to remember. Also you can customize. And do a shift key to give you a few more keys. So you would now have 10 keys plus 6 when shift is held. I say 6 because 2 have to be a left and right mouse button. Which you can assign to 2 other buttons. and then 2 more buttons are ones that you use with your thumb as well. since your thumb is holding the G shift it makes it hard to use the other 2 thumb keys. which I turn those into my left and right mouse buttons as I don't need those anyways cause I just have to release the button to use those. I like to use the G shift over dpi shift. But that was cause the sniper button is hard for me to reach. Now that I know more bout the mouse I may use another easier to get to button like the back button as a dpi shift.
Totally, I spend a decent chunk of my free time ogling and reading up on PC hardware of all kinds. I don't even know why really, it's not related to my job or anything...I just love that stuff I guess!
I use that Razor mouse but with the numbers on the side. 1-12. I play a lot of PC games requiring clicking them. But Im lazy and dont wanna take my fingers off the main awsd. Makes survival games much much easier.
why do manufacturers always assume that gamers take themselves so seriously? i really don't think gamers are demanding such overly dramatic branding, at least i'm not and nobody i know is. but i own this mouse lol, so clearly what they're doing isn't stopping sales at least. i even bought the RGB version, but mostly because blue doesn't really match the rest of my setup. i do play games but i mainly bought this particular mouse because it has a ton of buttons without just sticking them on a 3x3 pad on the side. like the buttons are relatively ergonomic and that allows me to do video editing and other media work a lot faster. turns out the functions that help in gaming also tend to help in media workflows.
Ryan Kelley Oh awesome. The D2 soundtrack is one of my favorites, Matt Uelmen is a fantastic composer the Tristram theme is really beautiful. Way better choice than the history paper :P
Im getting this mouse for christmas because I dont like the razer naga anymore its so bad. Thats because my palm gets sweaty because of the plastic and my hand slips off of the mouse. Also the shape of it omfg so bad
Cause ASMR, meaning some of the people have a pleasure whilst listening to a quiet person or to a thing such as a pen writing, you can find multiple videos via RUclips.
My uncle owns that mouse, and god is it dreadful (for me) It's way too small for my hand and not a very comfortable mouse. I just love my Roccat Kone XTD. It's large and comfortable for my hand
+Dah Magpie Mouse ergonomics are a fairly subjective thing, but to me this mouse feels very average-sized and it sits under my palm nicely. Do you have large hands?
This sound quality is ridiculous. Once he started talking I jumped because I thought it was somebody right next to me. That's a damn good mic you have.
I would't be able to do an unboxing because I would be to anxious to open it and the video would be over in 30 seconds.
Haha

I've had this mouse for about 6 months now. BEST MOUSE EVER
Thanks Altair, Im think on buying it also. A guy is selling it cheap on a website and its in the box.
Yeah, definitely get it. It's the greatest mouse I have ever used.
Shit, 2 late, he already sold it.
Totally agree, it's a fantastic mouse. Bogs Binny, if you can find it on sale, I'd say it's easily worth $50.
Nice one mate, I'll have to look into possibly grabbing one for myself.
Hi, I'm not expert on mouses but why do they add more than ~2k dpi on mouses? Who is ever going to use more than about 1600 unless it's on 4k screen?

Glad you liked the vid! I just picked up a Fates fat pack yesterday, and I'll probably be doing a video with it this week :)
Awesome!!
As I say in the video, I think their features and designs are great.
make a video where you type on your mechanical keyboard? love those sounds! :D
I've been meaning to do one of these for a while, and I just keep getting distracted by other ideas :P. I'll try to do one soon!
Always liked Logitech mouses.
Sekaye Gaudet This is actually my first Logitech mouse. Really loving it.
***** I'm glad for you! I personally use as CM Mizar
Will you do a setup tour ? :)
Great unboxing.
As per the intro's instruction, I keep hitting the spacebar to continue and it freezes the video. Please fix.
Delete system32. Should fix.
+TheMildcream that's not a good fix, throw PC off building
Ive had a razer deathadder chroma edition for a very long time and its still like new
Found this for 40, but it literally switched price back to 80 once Best Buy opened. Cashier said they never sold it for 40 even tho I had a screen shot. Went for the m65 rgb instead.
Setup video?
"For a dude, I've got relatively tiny hands." Man idk if it's just me, but this video had me cracking up the whole time! (btw I've got tiny hands for a dude too lol)
Greetings, my tiny-handed brother. You understand my struggle. Actually, it's not really much of a struggle. Just some mice feel a bit big for my hand. Otherwise, it's kind of beneficial; smaller hands are great for working inside PC cases with tight spaces!
I have the Logitech G303. This one is nice too!
I have had this for a bout a year and it is definitely the best mouse ever! And its only 50 bucks I believe
Been using it since this video, still loving it! No issues whatsoever yet.
***** I'm looking to spend between 1000 and 1500 bucks
***** In that price range you can get a PC that will handle any modern game on high settings without difficulty. Will you be needing just the PC itself, or will you need peripherals too, like a good monitor, mouse, keyboard, and speakers?
***** I'm needing everything.
I have a pc that my wife uses, but I'm wanting a totally gaming dedicated setup
That thing is friggin sweet. I get giddy just looking at that kind of stuff, y'know?
Totally, I spend a decent chunk of my free time ogling and reading up on PC hardware of all kinds. I don't even know why really, it's not related to my job or anything...I just love that stuff I guess!
I use that Razor mouse but with the numbers on the side. 1-12. I play a lot of PC games requiring clicking them. But Im lazy and dont wanna take my fingers off the main awsd. Makes survival games much much easier.
hawt.... I Mean the mouse, the mouse
+Hamish Hill ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Hamish Hill When a reply gets more likes than the original comment..
Hamish Hill Holy fuck your forehead is big.
If we were on teamspeak playing an FPS, I would ban you if you broke whisper
+Azzie Lea (Azzie27) And carry on Zzz'ing while you capture the flag or something, I don't care, just keep rambling
This may sound strange but I think if you were a food you'd be pumpkin bread
I'll take it, pumpkin bread is delicious. Any particular reason you picked that?
I have absolutely no idea. that thought just randomly popped into my head whilst i was watching this.
i got a razer mamba te that i got from a garage sale for 5 bucks, works perfectly fine
G502 master race
yeeeee
Nah fam, got to be on the OG Zowie team
Really good mouse
why do manufacturers always assume that gamers take themselves so seriously? i really don't think gamers are demanding such overly dramatic branding, at least i'm not and nobody i know is. but i own this mouse lol, so clearly what they're doing isn't stopping sales at least. i even bought the RGB version, but mostly because blue doesn't really match the rest of my setup. i do play games but i mainly bought this particular mouse because it has a ton of buttons without just sticking them on a 3x3 pad on the side. like the buttons are relatively ergonomic and that allows me to do video editing and other media work a lot faster. turns out the functions that help in gaming also tend to help in media workflows.
Lol I have the same mice as yours we're now mouse buddies for life ^_^
G502 bros!
Is it nice? It looks like an alien lol
H4J (Horsman4James) Yeah, it's excellent. I've really been enjoying it.
***** I have it too and it's just perfect :)
Could you make a video in french ? :D
Would be greaaaaat
Hmm I could try, but my french is definitely a bit rusty. I haven't used it much in the years since highschool french class :P
That's a great mouse, same one I use
Are you Canadian?
+Darth Bobo Should've watched the whole video first lol...

ASMR Whisper: Logitech G502 Proteus Core Gaming Mouse Unboxing
By: theASMRnerd
You witnessed asmr, if you don’t like it than don’t watch it.
I own the G502 Proteus Spectrum. Even sillier name! Lol

내 amsr의 처음을 알려준 영상,,,,
Cool video
Thanks!
Gaming mouse with built-in fidget spinner
Hey ASMRnerd, what goin on dude?
Oh, y'know. Nerd stuff I guess.
***** Me as well, I am learning tristram theme from diablo 2 on guitar. I managed to spend 4 hours doing that and not my history paper. haha
Ryan Kelley Oh awesome. The D2 soundtrack is one of my favorites, Matt Uelmen is a fantastic composer the Tristram theme is really beautiful. Way better choice than the history paper :P
nice mouse, but the name is a little bit ridiculous isnt it?
The next one down in their lineup is called the "Hyperion Fury". Seriously, who comes up with these names.
+theASMRnerd gaben
Do you play cs go? I loved the video
+mason keithley Not really, I play rarely with friends but that's about it. Glad you enjoyed the vid :)

next time do the unboxing when every one is up out if the bed and get a tripod or get a bigger one
+Darius Botley This is an ASMR video: the whispering and close-up view are intentional. It's intended for relaxation.
Opens mouse at 10:15
No hate just in case people want to skip to that part
+Joe Holland thank you
ASMR. Not an unboxing.
+Steven Brown Did I say it wasn't asmr? I watched it for the Unboxing, not the asmr.
Joe Holland
Sorry, please excuse my rudeness.
Im getting this mouse for christmas because I dont like the razer naga anymore its so bad. Thats because my palm gets sweaty because of the plastic and my hand slips off of the mouse. Also the shape of it omfg so bad
Axel Beltran believe me this mouse is amazing
harmon vermeeren g502 for the win
Like if u have a proteus spectrum
y does it sound like he is whispering?
Cause ASMR, meaning some of the people have a pleasure whilst listening to a quiet person or to a thing such as a pen writing, you can find multiple videos via RUclips.
why are you wispring i have srround sound and it sounds weard
Review something different soon? How many keyboards etc can you review 😂
oh gosh this is so creepy when you close your eyes😂😂
And have your lights off
Yeah xD
Laser resolution doesnt exist LUL. Did you mean precision?
Tf does lul mean?
Hello
Good evening Mr. Wolf.
i got the same mouse
I literally cannot use a normal mouse after using this.
You must have some massive manly hands.
Never heard someone with an American accent say bollocks
And you still haven't! I'm Canadian ;)
i have the same thing
Woah ur Canadian?
#Canadianborn
Damn, 2015
o mause bi yerine ...
