  • Quick comparison between the new Adidas NHL pro stock socks (from the Montreal Canadiens) and older Reebok/CCM Edge variant (from the Dallas Stars).
    The differences are very minor, but the Edge socks had Edge 1.0 material while the Adidas are made of Edge 2.0 airknit material.

    How do I get sizing for these adidas socks? I ordered extra large and a large for my brother but I have zero idea on what the measurements are

    Question: would XL or L fit better for adult hockey players, for pro stock? Thanks!

      @HockeyReviews  3 года назад

      It is personal preference. I am 6'3 and prefer XL+ but can wear XL fine.

      @@HockeyReviews So L is a bit tighter, but works, but you prefer XL because it's looser?

      No, it is the length. They are all basically the same "tightness" since the shin pads don't get wider the taller they get. I can't wear L at all since they aren't long enough.

      @@HockeyReviews That's super helpful, thank you. Does pro-stock have any sort of measurement or sizing chart I could look at ? I was wanting to pick some up from my team's website, but not sure what size to get. If I had the sizing chart, I could measure out the length against the current old school knit socks i have now.

      @@mysticalwizardguy I am not aware of a sizing chart for these anywhere sorry. The XL fit bigger than the Senior in the Rebook/CCM nonknit retail socks. So I think a large would be closest to what the retail senior is

    How do these socks attach to your jock? Is there velcro inside the socks?

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  3 года назад

      You wear a garter belt and don't use velcro.

      @@HockeyReviews they actually do work with jock/Velcro as well
