I am aware of the replacements. This string will be parted out (bulbs/plug/receptable kept) and replaced when they go on sale for less than 3 dollars after Christmas. I hate the idea of wasting strings like that, but it's not practical or affordable to buy the spare bulbs separately anymore.

This works fine and is easily disassembled and reassembled.

The 2 larger ones were both animated, the motor failed on one of them years ago.

Just so you know in the future,, you can buy C9 and C7 sockets from a lot of different online suppliers like novilty lts and 1000 bulbs etc ...
yes, and super quick and easy to pop off old defective socket and replace with new, a sub 30 second procedure!
