OMG! Charlie is so cute! And I’m a sucker for dogs with HUGE PAWS, and he certainly has those! 🥰 I’d never heard of Art Trading Cards (ATC), but they’re beautiful samplers of artists’ work. Thanks for the introduction to them. I can relate all too well to the sadness you’re feeling after losing your precious mom. In April I lost my best friend of 50 years, and there are still days that I’m too paralyzed with grief to do much but get out of bed. Other days, seem more “normal”. Give yourself time to grieve, and do what you’re able and don’t worry about the rest. The kitties and Charlie will help so much during this process. There are many of us that look forward to your videos, and care so much for you, dear friend!❤️ Sending much love…
@DianneAsby Awww, thank you so much! ❤️ SO sorry to hear about your friend!!! Gosh, it's so hard to lose a loved one. When my dad died, it was very sudden and unexpected, and the grieving was awful. I ended up in the ER with anxiety attacks. And that's why I started taking pottery classes again. At least with my mom I was able to say goodbye. Thanks! ❤️
Love your flowers and the overall design. You have such gestural strokes when you paint - I always enjoy watching you. Now I want to join in the ATCs too!
I didn’t realize you’d lost your mother & Archie! That’s rough. My mom passed away 7 years ago this October 21st. Many days I still get the notion to call her. When I visit my sister in NC or she visits me in here in TN, we enjoy seeing our decorative pieces from Mom. It helps to talk memories❤🙏🏻
@ginnymaurer2580 Thanks Ginny! ❤️ Everytime I go to the store and I see adult coloring books or Find A Word, or just fun little crafty things, I want to buy them fir her. And then I remember that she's gone. At least I got to say goodbye to her. We lost my dad about 13 years ago. He died shoveling snow, and it still haunts me, because I told him I'd be over to help, but I didn't get there soon enough for him. Losing loved ones is so hard. Sorry to hear about your mom. ❤️
Hi. I've never heard of these cards. I googled them. It sounds like a great idea. You did an excellent job. I'll have to see if they do it worldwide. Like you, I love going to the movies, but since covid, I haven't been going as much. I'm glad Charlie is settling in more. Hopefully, the girls will accept him once they realise he's a permanent resident at home. Arts and craft, in all forms, are my go-to when I'm feeling like the world is closing in on me. You're so good at everything you do. I hope you're finding answers about your mum that will give you peace.

More questions and frustration, it seems. But we are taking one day at a time. The ATC cards have been so much fun. I know Amy Hand, the Camden Librarian, has artists from all over the world sending cards into her every month. It's hard to find artists hosting them, though. Amy Hand holds them every month, so maybe you could follow her on Instagram and opt into the swap next month if she has an opening. They're not very expensive to mail. Your cards are so cute and Charlie is absolutely adorable!! He is so very lucky to have you! We lost our Lilly in February, she was a yorkie like yours and she was 15. Not sure that we will start over again, it is tough, but we do have 2 grand kitties and a grand dog who we love and hopefully some grandchildren in the next couple of years! I Enjoy your videos very much, you are very inspiring!

We keep swearing that we're not going to get anymore because the loss is so hard, but then there are so many out there that need a home, we can't refuse. ❤️ Charlie has been such a joy and is great therapy for any sadness that comes along. We've had three Yorkies, and they are a delight.
Dear Lisa... I am SO very sorry, so sorry about your Mom and Archie as well. My Mom was also in a nursing home and met with some unfortunate circumstances. again, SO SO Sorry.
