Cartoon Network didn't always have Adult Swim. At one time, it was 24 hour cartoons. After prime time hours, they showed older cartoons like Tex Avery and Looney Tunes and Hannah Barbara or slower-paced cartoons like O Canada.
They forgot mention shows like The Power Puff Girls, Foster's home for imaginary friends, Dexter's laboratory and Samurai jack for Cartoon Network and Fairly Odd Parents, Hey Arnold, Rugrats and Avatar: The last air bender for Nick in the best shows round.
They also forgot to mention The Wild Thornberrys among Nickelodeon's best shows. I mean that show's cast included Tim Curry and Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I liked Nick while growing up and I still watch rugrats and hey arnold and such but cartoon network was my childhood and i still watch all the great shows I grew up with from cn more then nick so cn is my win
To me, nick and CN have switched roles. Like in the 90s , shows like edd ed n eddy, Dexter's labatory, did not appeal to me. But CN now is fun to be on! One problem. TTG. However nick was a good channel in the 90s, (they started in the 70's but 90s is when they got big) and 2000s as well. But once it reached 2009, that's when I think it when downhill. Still having good shows like True Jackson VP, nicktoons was dying out with stupid fart jokes. Nick did regain them selves in 2010 with shows like BTR, Victorious, etc. But it reached nick in around... 2013 or 2014 with the cancelled show victorious and Icarly being ended the year before. I'm sorry the nick one was so long, I had so much to say about nick. :D
I give a lot of love to Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. When I was a kid, I used to watch these animated shows with my grandma, dad, cousins or my mom
Cartoon Network always had the upper hand. DEXTER’S LAB, JOHNNY BRAVO, ED, EDD N’ EDDY and such are more memorable works to me. While Nickelodeon had RUGRATS, their other works were good titles but never had quite the same impact despite HEY ARNOLD, early SPONGEBOB (1999 - 2005), THREE FRIENDS AND JERRY, FAIRLY ODD PARENTS (2002 - 2007), etc. Disney Channel was almost an unknown because growing up there was a paywall, you had to pay extra to get the channel but the times it was for a free trial, always watched RECESS and LLOYD IN SPACE.
Nickelodeon, I grew up with their shows like Hey Arnold and Rugrats, while most CN shows were after I stopped watching kid shows. Nick also had sitcoms and mystery shows like Are you afraid of the dark!
@DISCORD the Nick sitcoms from the era were good. Because they aimed for the teens rather than just tweens, Nick used to be more edgy with their shows than other kids networks.

I grew up with both channels but I’ve always had better memories with Nickelodeon especially during the early 2000s when nickelodeon had the perfect amount of variety sure it’s got problems now but does that mean we have to forget about all the good things it once had? I personally don’t think so.

thanks for pin
Nukes for Dayz Nk Who are making good shows? Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon? Because lately, they’ve been making cornier and cornier TV shows for kids. Most of them not even educational like the “Loud House”
Niether channel is making any good showd both networks leave to much to be desired and dont get me started on cartoon network the only time im on the channel is to watch toonami and rick and morty
Tristen Roberts Toonami and Rick and Morty are worth the watch. Toonami needs to stop getting cancelled so animes like Death Note, Tokyo Goul, Attack on Titan, Dragon Ball Super can play on my TV again
@@ObviouslyNotYou not to mention primal thats coming up this fall
Cartoon Network for the win!
*SEE'S TEEN TITANS GO*
Oh uh.... I changed my mind.
Raven of the night ,,
teen titans was so good in my opinion, but teen titans go was trashhh
The new power puff girls is horrible too 😠
@@mackenzieesslin3111 I agree
Avatar: you sure?
Don't forget scooby doo
One) No one beats the avatar
Two) Nostalgic, memory lane
Three) Crossovers
As someone who grew up watching CN, I'd have to say that I don't just love CN due to it being the home channel of my all-time favourite show Codename KND, but also for introducing anime to non-Japanese audiences. I have Japanese blood in me and I love anime!
Too bad they don't make shows like they uesed to anymore
I think Nickelodeon should’ve won.
For?
Me Too!
@@Trollgaming1987 avatar nothing else
@@lizbandicoot3959 then theres absolute shit like the loud house
@@Trollgaming1987or anything modern, all of their shows have lost that Nickelodeon touch, the only thing left is Spongebob. I will say though Cartoon Network has a flaw with Teen Titans Go, but they still at have better programs like Steven Universe, The Amazing World of Gumball and let's not forget the greatest CN show, Regular Show
I don't appreciate it when Nick loses.
Ok, I admit Cartoon Network has some good shows but

No Cartoon Network slaps.
Gumball is way better than spongebob.
@@fw.rxy_0 no way
Cartoon Network didn't always have Adult Swim. At one time, it was 24 hour cartoons. After prime time hours, they showed older cartoons like Tex Avery and Looney Tunes and Hannah Barbara or slower-paced cartoons like O Canada.
Who remembers when Cartoon Network invaded Nickelodeon at it’s prime.
Both networks were at their best in the 90s .
@Strider Xanthos yep
Ms. Mojo you just started something! And I love it!
:D
For Nickelodeon, cause Danny Phantom, Catdog, Spongebob, Fairly oddparents, Zim plus more.
Cartoon Network forever ♥️♥️♥️
Nickelodeon
Cartoon Network, even thought existed in my country, it was on english and at that time I didnt understand english
I give a lot of love to Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. When I was a kid, I used to watch these animated shows with my grandma, dad, cousins or my mom
Sam: Excuse me? Do you want to get butter socked?
Old cartoon network shows are so underrated
like chowder, megas xlr, juniper lee, xiaolin showdown, hi hi puffy amiyumi, class of 3000, flapjack, robotboy, 6teen & secret sathurdays.
My top 10 favorite all time cartoon shows from Cartoon Network:
#10. Courage The Cowardly Dog
#09. Grims Adventure Of Billy and Mandy
#08. Robotboy
#07. Codename Kids Next Door
#06. Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends
#05. Ben 10 Classic
#04. Teen Titans
#03. Samurai Jack
#02. Total Drama
#01. Ed Edd N Eddy
I like both❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂 Dexter's lab is funny so is SpongeBob SquarePants so I pick both
It really depends
90s versions Nickelodeon
Modern day versions Cartoon Network
I like cartoon network better.
Nickelodeon has and had better late night programming.
- Friends
- Full House
- George Lopez
- Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
- That ‘70s Show
- Everybody Loves Raymond
- Married...With Children
- Two and a Half Men (Didn’t last long)
- The Goldbergs (Didn’t last long)
- Mom
- The King of Queens
If MsMojo is bring up old shows. Wasn’t All in the Family on Nick @ Nite?
The Brothers Garcia
but cartoon network had legendary funny shows like space ghost coast to coast and that would make me stay up at night watching it lol! but I do love nickelodeon.
Nickelodeon ruled in the 1990’s and then the Nick At Nite was awesome. I liked all the Hanna Barbera stuff on early Cartoon Network. Now I think both networks suck ass. 🤷🏼♀️
They only win because they didn't mention the modern shows
Cartoon Network: We have The Powerpuff Girls!
Nickelodeon: We have the Avatar!
Tony Stark: What’s going on here?
Disney Junior: We have Mickey!
Mickey: I’m the one that was first created since the 1930’s!
Rick: Back it up. Back it up! Just chill the **** out and settle things out. Why don’t you hold hands or something? (Burps)
I never watch much spongebob cuz my mom thinks I was learning bad habits from that cartoon so I grew up with CN, Disney, and PBS Kids
CN:GUMBALL
NIK:SPONGEBOB
WHO DO YOU PICK?
Spongebob
Spongebob
Spongebob
Gumball
Who is going to win between these 2 channels: Cartoon Network vs Nickelodeon ?
1. Art & Animation = Cartoon Network (1)
2. Characters = Nickelodeon (1)
3. Best shows = Cartoon Network (2)
4. Cultural impact = Nickelodeon (2)
5. Late night programming = Cartoon Network (3)
Cartoon Network wins over Nickelodeon by a score of 3>2
In my opinion best shows takes both channels
Cartoon Network is a huge fan of DC
the truth is,I love cartoons from the cartoon network, more than those from nickelodeon
I still like Nickelodeon
why do all these videos pretend the only good shows nick had were spongebob rugrats and ren and stimpy ffs there are so many other great shows
Boomerang
Here's how I see it. Nickelodeon was better in the 90s while Cartoon Network was better in the 2010s, and both were even in the 2000s.
Not really
Eh I agree to an extent, but 2010s has to go. Lol Disney, Nick, & Cartoon Network all sucked in the 2010s. Loiter squad, Rick & Morty, & Adventure time did not save Cartoon Network in the 2010s IMO.
As a Cartoon Network fan, spongebob made the most huge cultural difference

THEY DIDNT EVEN TALK ABOUT AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER
Jeevzsk so...
They mentioned it briefly.
Avatar isn't one of nickelodeon highlights, when people think of nickelodeon they think Spongebob, CatDog, Danny Phantom or even Rugrats.
@@BiGSmoke-.- A LOT of people view Avatar as one of Nickelodeon's best shows.
nothing can beat Nickelodeon
Because Nickelodeon doesn't make weird reboots
Nothing beats the noods era shows from CN especially the “Tom+Jen” shows
Cartoon Network for the big win
Cartoon Network will always be my winner; although I like SpongeBob; and see it has had such an impact; shows like Regular Show, The Amazing World if Gumball and even some of the classic ones (like Dexter’s Laboratory and Johnny Bravo) all shape up a big part of my childhood.
Edit: Yes. My PFP is a SpongeBob Popsicle. I did do it because of BrentTV. But that doesn’t mean that I like Nickelodeon more. It means I like SpongeBob a bit more for this glorious popsicle.
1:34 this has aged so well
Funny thing is: I grew up with both of these shows in my childhood
CN wins cause it had the best cartoons of the two thousands and ninties
Either way both programs are great' exept teen titans go.
Avatar the airbender beats CN in every catory
@Tamar Thorne fam atla > teen titans

Overall cartoon channel winner is going to be Cartoon Network of course.
I do not agree. Nickelodeon is clearly better lol
Is not tho
You Just Made The List it’s my opinion dude

Ren & Stimpy Will Always Be My Precious Childhood Memory.

I grew up with both channels but I’ve always had better memories with Nickelodeon especially during the early 2000s when nickelodeon had the perfect amount of variety sure it’s got problems now but does that mean we have to forget about all the good things it once had?
I personally don’t think so.
Adventure Time vs Regular Show
Cartoon Network definitely!
only power nickelodeon has is spongebob
That's gonna have a 3rd movie
Nickelodeon is way more better then cartoon network
Forgetting Ben 10 is a huge criminal.Dude saved whole CN from Bankruptcy.
Nickelodeon. Cartoon Network. Why choose one over the other? Both networks are great since the 1990s!
USVI Dragon Slayer nick started in the 70’s

I love both channels, and I don't want to pick sides.
If it wasn't for adult swim and Cartoon Network's original shows, Nickelodeon would have taken the cake.
I absolutely love Cartoon Network I love it as a kid
CN just needs to bring back good shows like Teen titans OG and Ben 10 OG instead of canceling good shows.
Nick needs to bring back old and awesome sitcoms and cartoons instead of canceling them and introducing new meh shows
In my opinion these both channels are kinda bad now and both of the channels are similar in mistakes.
*They cancel good shows*
Cn is worse.
@@silversmoke4159 even more worse
Why you dont mention regular show 😠
Nickelodeon: has a funny sponge
CN: has retarded superheroes and is ending everything good
Disney XD: Has phineas and ferb still running, a good reboot of ducktales, new and original shows, has somewhat good shows about people playing games... i could go on
I like them both but I been waiting for this.
this is basically saying "mom vs dad" like they are so amazing!! I grew up with iCarly, Jimmy neutron and the other nick shows. I also grew up with Regular Show, gumball, adventure time... gah this is very very tough. But, I have to say Cartoon Network is 0.0001% better only because they still have good shows running. but otherwise, it's a tie.
Cartoonetwork all day every day. Nick was cool too but most of my childhood was Cartoonetwork.
Cn: we have ttg
Nick: hell wit dat we got avatar bitches
Side note: adult swim is the only saving grace for CN( if it even counts)
Again Disney made me forget about clone wars
Ahhh relics of the past
