You seem to be doing just fine flying boxes, random plants, planks and combinations thereof. I could feel your pain when the tornadoes stole not one, but two of your barrels.
I am excited to see what you will do now that they removed the plank flying glitch, and the ability to phase through doors. Edit: your tactics confuse and frighten me sir
the thing is, surfing is still possible, just not when two objects are attached to each other, like two planks. I found a way to fly around less quickly, but more effectively when travelling relatively short distances by just grabbing something, jumping on it, letting go of it, grabbing it again, jumping on it again etc.
There is a plank fly setup we use at the start of Art Return to plank fly, but I'm not aware of any plank setup that uses cables so I'm curious as to what that looks like
@@swankykoala4836 if you take two planks and connect their middles with a cable, you can pick up one plank and stand on the other to kinda fly, very difficult to control
I beat "the chase" in 14 sec by going straight full speed till I crash and then putting a board on the boat windshield when it breaks off from impact every time and flying it to the end
At certain parts of the ocean there's no floor stopping you going out of bounds. So if you do have enough speed to go out of bounds, the game teleports you to where you spawned, which happens to be next to the escape van. That's why I'm going so high to get enough speed to go past the water. This quirk of the game was actually known for almost a year but it didn't have a practical use as plank flying was just faster at the time
@@swankykoala4836 that's pretty cool... wonder how one figures that out lol to be fair, before i started watching, i was already hoping you would utilize some game-"breaking" mechanics :)
@@antonrnik Pretty sure one of us figured this out on old Fine Arts, where we could plank fly to the boat so high and fast that we accidentally go through the ocean and out of bounds lol
now i finally know how someone is supposed to open the vaults legit. good thing i had a portal gun and the ability to clip through everything or else i don't know what i would have done.
I thought he cheated because he fell in water and teleported to the van but clearly I don’t know a lot about Teardown because he prove me wrong in comments😂
I was going high enough so that when I fall into the ocean, I go through the water and out of bounds. When a player is out of bounds, they teleport to spawn, and that happens to be next to the van.

GG good run. First time seeing an actual speedrun from teardown, cool techniques and mindblowing routes. Bravo
Been waiting for a part 2 speedrun

RIP the legendary plank you will be missed. BTW new sub you helped me alot

Wait since when did they remove plank flying?
@@helloperson2753 They removed it in the campaign part 2 update, but speedrunners seem to have found a way around the fix.
That plank flying bug was just troll physics

@@int2201 Certainly still possible, but since the objects can't be connected together, it's much harder, slower, and less reliable to do than before.
Neat run :D
truly amazing
I think the game is a speedrun for everybody, not just speedrunners (when you trigger the alarm thing)
Awesome!
Awesome
Pog
Very good speedrun
You can do the plank flying still but only with cables, which isn't as good but it can still work if needed

Can’t you speed up that boat section with the boosters?
Good Speedrun

How long did it take to master? lol
Damn they redid some of the old levels! I hope they didn’t make art heist or insurance fraud easier
Holy shit bro 👏👏👏

I imagine the tornado level kills most of this games runs

Yeah I'll do that next run!

Any% would be the optional ones too wouldn't it?
Any% is short for "Any % of the game completed to finish the game" so no need to do optional missions
teardown tried and failed to remove the flying glitch not ones but a total of 3 times.
