"Revenge of the Nerds" is a 1984 American comedy film directed by Jeff Kanew and starring, among others, Andrew Cassese and Don Gibb. The film's plot chronicles a group of nerds at the fictional Adams College trying to stop the ongoing harassment by the jock fraternity, the Alpha Betas, in addition to the latter's sister sorority, Pi Delta Pi.
Robert Reed Carradine (born March 24, 1954) is an American actor. The youngest of the Carradine family, he made his first appearances on television western series such as "Bonanza" and his late brother David's TV series, "Kung Fu." Carradine's first film role was in the 1972 film "The Cowboys," which starred John Wayne and Roscoe Lee Browne. Carradine also portrayed fraternity president 'Lewis Skolnick' in the "Revenge of the Nerds" series of comedy films.
Andrew Martin Cassese (born February 12, 1972) is an American stage and film actor and musician. Born in New York, Cassese is perhaps best known for starring in the 1984 comedy film "Revenge of the Nerds" as 'Harold Wormser.' In 2007, he starred as Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in the Philadelphia Theatre Company premiere of "Nerds://A Musical Software Satire."
Donald Richard Gibb (born August 4, 1954), sometimes credited as Don Gibb, is an American actor, best known for his roles as the hulking, dimwitted fraternity brother 'Ogre' in several installments of the "Revenge of the Nerds" film series, as 'Ray Jackson' in "Bloodsport" and as 'Leslie Dr. Death Krunchner' on the HBO sitcom "1st & Ten."

Of course, that's why they call it acting ;) - you'll notice that typically the character actors/actors that play heavies/villains etc. are typically the nicest people in real life.

first saw this film on a trip to wales in 1987.. to me this is one of the greatest comedies of all time..

LOVE LOVE LOVE.. The original film but I also hold a special place for Nerds in Paradise as well. These movies are so nostalgic for me. Brings me back to my childhood which I loved and one of the reasons was movies like this

i love so many of the 80's films but man i have to say revenge of the nerds was my favorite...wore out the video because we used to watch it at least once a week for so long becuase it was so damn hillarious.

I loved Donald Gibb in Transylvania 6-5000. He was hilarious in that film.

His character was in 3. Most likely as he was too old. In 2 his character didn’t really look old

When Julie Montgomery is there I always notice they never place him next to her. I liked their relationship on the first movie. I heard her say on the second movie they wanted her to be cheating on Lewis getting caught with other guys. She didn’t like that and denied it. I always wondered why it shows Lewis packing her picture in his suitcase going to Ft Lauderdale. And he fell for another women. Then the 3rd movie they are married. Lol 😂
I dare say it was the stupid writers for the sequel that didn't respect the first film that caused the problem.
I just checked the writers of all of the films and I was right, the sequel had different writers than the first film. Movies 3 and 4 were written by the original writers, which is probably why that plot line was repaired to have them now married.
Also, instead of being upset/shocked when the man she is having sex with is revealed to not be her boyfriend, she instead compliments him on his performance and instantly falls in love with him based solely on that encounter, lol.

I wonder if anyone noticed the subtle race vs race connotation in the movie by having the evil fraternity called the "Alpha Betas" or "AB" which is also the initials of the Aryan Brotherhood and then having the Tri-Lams as an all-black fraternity until the nerds got their blessing.

They should do a new Revenge of the Nerds reboot, but have it with a bunch of Conservative straight males going into the typical woke college and being genuine rebels against the system.
They could never be able to do a reboot in today’s “woke” culture. People are way to sensitive to handle the raunchy comedy & un-politically correct humor of this classic. Sometimes it’s better to leave perfection alone.
