    Lovely stuff Jim. I’ve got one of those beauties and find it very useful. I think they’re actually better for the hobbiest woodworker such as myself as it stops you needing a ton of different hand planes. A bit of patience is required but when you get the knack they’re a joy to use.
    Out of interest how do you find the size of granite plate you have there, if you had to go again would you get the slightly bigger one or does that one do just fine ?

      Hello! Thanks for the comment and sorry for the delay in replying. I find the granite plate does for almost everything. I do have a really big one, but Senior Management is using it for something at the moment. However, it’s seriously heavy - around 85kg - so difficult to move around. In the last workshop I had a sturdy trolley for it, but that got broken in the move. I need to get it sorted out though because I need it for some upcoming work. Working on how to use the multi plane at the moment…
