As a 35-year-old that is just now learning to skate, I love hearing the two of you talk and just the easy back and forth and all the skating stories really inspire me to try to get better. Keep it up you guys are awesome

Hey man hope you're still out there. I started at 27 but really only got more consistent starting around 31 and I'm 32 now. Love to see other people around my age picking it up. Always fun to show off what I can do and they assume I've been skating since I was young. Keep at it dude.

@@zefmanx Yeah sometimes when I just can't land some trick I go and just cruise and it's very calming and helps me relax. When I'm warming up going around the basketball court, or any kind of flat, I think I'm listening to the sound of the wheels on the ground and it's pretty soothing and my mind can wander if I'm not focused on a specific trick.
As long as you have fun that's all that matters. Also, please wear a helmet. Concussions are not fun.

As usual, so stoked when a new ep shows up in my notifications. In regards to it being longer my advice would be just don't worry about being right at 60 minutes (or close to it). That's the beauty of the format you're working in, it doesn't have to be rigidly defined. If you've got 75 minutes of shit to talk about that day, cool. 90 minutes, cool. But if all the time you've got that day is 60-65, still cool. Looking forward to the next one.
So glad Ellis is back. Perfect mix between the more serious Tony Hawk and the funny Jason Ellis. Perfect chemistry and great stories.
Tony, Ellis, So glad you guys do this. I listen to Ellis' show 3 times a week, and this show is the PERFECT way to start my work week. I won't say do 4 hours, but I will say do as much as you guys can. JRE is dead, long live Hawk Vs. Wolf!!!

"There's metaphors in here, that you can use for the rest of your life" - Dude, Skateboarding has tought me so much valuable lessons and I would not where I'am today without it. Skateboarding is the love of my life. I started when I was 12 and I'am still a Skater at the age of 53.
The added footage gives a lot of context, and is a nice touch.

Long form podcasting is awesome. 1hr is the bare minimum IMO. 1.5 hours would be wonderful, too. Just glad to hear you guys! Haven't heard Ellis rant since his x games commentary back in the early 2000's. Love these guys together!

Keep up the great work, been a fan of Tony since the late 80's - had his 91 purple signature vert board, shaped like nothing else out there! It was like trying to kick-flip a Cadillac door! What I wouldn't give to see that board again today ... both these cats are legendary in my world and seem like the humble, down to earth guys I always imagined they would be! Recording your skate session and adding it to the end of the podcast would be pretty cool too. I love watching this and even watched some more than once. Been a huge fan for a long time as im the same age and the stories take me bake to my old days. This show should never end!!!

as soon as i found this podcast it instantly became my favorite you two have both been my favorite skaters since i first started skating when i was like 8 im 21 now and when i heard about hawk vs wolf i screamed like a lil girl lol i love it keep up the awesome conversations i love hearing stories about your guys days back in the day

Man hearing about your vert stories makes me sad that their isn't anything like that here in the Midwest that I am aware of at least not for public use. Bowls are great don't get me wrong but a legit full sized vert ramp? Definitely on the bucket list. Its a huge part of skating most of us just don't get to have obviously it's greater risk especially for kids but I mean people want it maybe with the way skateboarding is headed we could get actual schools or courses for that kind of stuff world wide. Make it more accessible and it will make a huge comeback.

I'll be honest and say I want a 4 hour podcast. I listen to podcasts all day long. Working, playing video games, walking the dog, cooking dinner, doing yard work, taking a shit and showering. Literally all day long, there is one podcast or another in my ear. The longer the better and I don't listen to Rogan. Tom Segura, Christina P., Brent Krishna, you bet. That being said, I'm glad to have what you guys are able and most important have fun giving us. Thanks guys this rocks.
