Above Post sums it up for myself also. Strong Dad--M 15 was able to find a worthy mate to Harriet and she was equal to the Mom task expected of Eagle Moms. Owls are a minor nusiance for eagles if one remembers why they do what they do against a much larger Raptor foe. No owlets were lost nor was lone Eaglet E-23. Nominal enemies getting along at this Nest--Nature's interests balanced out at this Nest Location. Thanks for Posting L H !

This season certainly was a welcome surprise after the calamity of loosing Harriet and seeing M15 raise his youngsters all on his own last year. I wonder where E23 is now. Thank you Lady Hawk for this last video of the season and it’s been a hard and rough one in the beginning but it all turned out wonderful and this season has been awesome With our precious daddy Magnificent15 and his new wonderful mate LadyF23 and their sweet and adorable E23 too but with the unfortunate passing of E23’s sibling but however, it all was a wonderful season with M15 so very happy and doting on his E23 a lot which is always so nice to see from him cause he’s a great daddy to his E’s❤️🥰🦅. As I always do, I’ll be missing these wonderful Eagles and I do pray for their safety through the Summer months and am excited for the next season when we will get to see them once again. Last season was sad with the disappearance of Harriett and dad Magnificent15 having to raise E’s 21&22 on his own which he has successfully done which we are so proud of him for doing a wonderful job and he’s a magnificent and very intelligent Eagle parent. I have followed this nest 4 quite sumtime & this is way better than the academy award show. There’s so many ppl 2 thank: the Pritchitts, Lady Hawk, Androcat, Faxcinating & others, but most especially the powerful M15 & F23 & their E23. Last year I felt like I was holding my breath the whole time that M15 and eaglets would be okay. TY Lady Hawk for your videos. They are ALWAYS wonderful! I know they may call it "maintenance", but if truly since they receive funds via YT and watchers and compared to other nests, it would be more like the other nests to keeo it up all year. These parents are here all year, and at the pond. I just don't get it. M15 is amazing. It's too bad they won't keep it going. There are volunteers. I hope they will consider that - soon.
Hello Secretsquirrel - thank you so much for watching all my videos and making this nest a part of your life! Oh it is not the money as to why the Pritchett's remove the cams each summer. The summer and early Fall is hurricane season and if the cams are left up they can and have been damaged by the torrential rain and wind. The Pritchett's have lost several cams because they were not taken down soon enough. Yes, M15 and F23 will stick around all summer - most of the day they are out of view but they do make some stops at the pond and office oak and church trees!
@@ladyhawk LH, I know you are wanting to defend them, I'm familiar with the weather there. I believe they could still leave them. I'm not sure the entire situation, but they don't. It would be nice if they would leave them. We should be able to see our eagles. Other's could handle it if they can't. XOXO
Hurricanes are not to be taken lightly and the Pritchetts know what's best. Eagle nests are for raising eaglets, and after they fledge, the parents don't spend time in the nest. If you want, there are a few other nests to watch where there are eaglets ready to fledge any day now. @SecretSquirrel24

I cried so much when Ozzie died, and again when Harriet disappeared, but I know that is nature. Wow, what a beautiful conclusion to the season.......I love the blurry rainy scene on the nest with F23.......was so artfully beautiful to see her as if she was reminiscing about the past season and getting to see E23 with dad at the pond was very moving as well. Sharon Shneyer, I absolutely love that U Branch, it touches me in a way I don't understand. I guess because my emotions are in such a strained place, I am anthmorfizing feelings that the branch and tree don't actually have. I am somewhat like that with the oak tree in front of our house. I was 5 when it was planted, and hear it is 60 years later. It has been the only consistent thing in my life.

Hello... does anyone here have any information on the adult male eagle who was found a few miles from the nest and sadly, humanely euthanized today? It's awful that any eagle is hit by a car ... but I'm sure hoping it wasn't M15. Thank you.

The successful hatch became our beautiful E23, little bobblhead soon turned into a feisty, strong determined beautiful eagle who we witnessed grow and fledge. As time went by we watched E23 being taught all she needed to know for her survival by M15 & F23 until the day she finally went her own way in the big blue skies. None of this was possible to witness without these cams, the Pritchett Family, the cam operators and all the team at SWFL Eagles. I am truly grateful to each and everyone of you for this journey into the wonderful life of a Bald Eagle. Last season was sad with the disappearance of Harriett and dad Magnificent15 having to raise E’s 21&22 on his own which he has successfully done which we are so proud of him for doing a wonderful job and he’s a magnificent and very intelligent Eagle parent. God bless you and everyone who are subscribers and hope you all are safe too. Thank you to the Pritchett’s for always allowing us in this wonderful Eagle world and for that I appreciate that. Thank you Pritchett family and Lady Hawk. This was my first egg to fledge season and it was just joyful and a wonderful learning experience. Happy vacation (albeit a working one for some) to all and to our majestic M15 & F23. I look forward to my second season with this nest in the fall. I have followed this nest 4 quite sumtime & this is way better than the academy award show. There’s so many ppl 2 thank: the Pritchitts, Lady Hawk, Androcat, Faxcinating & others, but most especially the powerful M15 & F23 & their E23. I jus luv them all!❤🎉 While the cam was scanning ovr the nest, I was thinking all the delicious meals that were eaten on that nest; a great variety indeed! 😋 God bless evryone & protect r eagle family!❤🥰

Last year I felt like I was holding my breath the whole time that M15 and eaglets would be okay. Glad M15 had a happier season with F23 although we won't forget Harriet who helped mold M15 into an exceptional father. See you in the Fall. ❤

TY Lady Hawk for your videos. They are ALWAYS wonderful! I know they may call it "maintenance", but if truly since they receive funds via YT and watchers and compared to other nests, it would be more like the other nests to keeo it up all year. These parents are here all year, and at the pond. I just don't get it. M15 is amazing. It's too bad they won't keep it going. There are volunteers. I hope they will consider that - soon.
Hello Secretsquirrel - thank you so much for watching all my videos and making this nest a part of your life! Oh it is not the money as to why the Pritchett's remove the cams each summer. The summer and early Fall is hurricane season and if the cams are left up they can and have been damaged by the torrential rain and wind. The Pritchett's have lost several cams because they were not taken down soon enough. Yes, M15 and F23 will stick around all summer - most of the day they are out of view but they do make some stops at the pond and office oak and church trees!
@@ladyhawk LH, I know you are wanting to defend them, I'm familiar with the weather there. I believe they could still leave them. I'm not sure the entire situation, but they don't. It would be nice if they would leave them. We should be able to see our eagles. Other's could handle it if they can't. XOXO
Hurricanes are not to be taken lightly and the Pritchetts know what's best. Eagle nests are for raising eaglets, and after they fledge, the parents don't spend time in the nest. If you want, there are a few other nests to watch where there are eaglets ready to fledge any day now. @SecretSquirrel24

I cried so much when Ozzie died, and again when Harriet disappeared, but I know that is nature. Wow, what a beautiful conclusion to the season.......I love the blurry rainy scene on the nest with F23.......was so artfully beautiful to see her as if she was reminiscing about the past season and getting to see E23 with dad at the pond was very moving as well. It's bittersweet now that it's over but it was a successful season and we have the next one to look forward to. Thank you for this wonderful video to close the chapter until next time.
Sharon Shneyer, I absolutely love that U Branch, it touches me in a way I don't understand. I guess because my emotions are in such a strained place, I am anthmorfizing feelings that the branch and tree don't actually have.
I am somewhat like that with the oak tree in front of our house. I was 5 when it was planted, and hear it is 60 years later. It has been the only consistent thing in my life.

Hello... does anyone here have any information on the adult male eagle who was found a few miles from the nest and sadly, humanely euthanized today? It's awful that any eagle is hit by a car ... but I'm sure hoping it wasn't M15. Thank you.

This evening my husband and I were just talking about the huge variety of food M15 and F23 brought to the nest for beloved E23 … E23 certainly has a well developed pallet and learned so many different food sources from his wise parents. What a fantastic season it has been, M15 introduces his new female to all SWFL Eagle fans, they successfully produce eggs, but sadly only one hatched.
The successful hatch became our beautiful E23, little bobblhead soon turned into a feisty, strong determined beautiful eagle who we witnessed grow and fledge.
As time went by we watched E23 being taught all she needed to know for her survival by M15 & F23 until the day she finally went her own way in the big blue skies.
None of this was possible to witness without these cams, the Pritchett Family, the cam operators and all the team at SWFL Eagles.
I am truly grateful to each and everyone of you for this journey into the wonderful life of a Bald Eagle.
TO ALL THE FANS OF THIS NEST
Thank you for sharing this journey with me and i look forward to sharing it again next season.

E23 was such a quick study - both brassy and fierce. Those dominating qualities will serve her well. M almost took a back seat this season as learn by example for both his mate and kiddo. M will always be a superstar in whatever role he fulfills ✨
