Great video. I've one in the UK. Not as tall as you so fitting inside isn't a problem. It flies to the amazement of potential racers. Handling is phenomenal on Yokohamas. I had a Beat for 12 years and the S660 is Honda's up to date version. Its city braking has come on once when I braked late but it stops very hard usually. It's very well equipped. It can be noisy and the Bluetooth phone system can only be heard when idling really. I've a few cars but this ranks really high for me. It has several unusual features which you discover with long term use. Not gimmicks but really useful. A stunning vehicle sadly now not produced.
"What an absolute sound" is hilarious to me. For real though, I want one of these more than any car enthusiast should... or maybe that's just me thinking stereotypically American about my own preferences
Thanks! I would, except I know about as much about importing cars as you do haha. Look up Cooper Auto Company, he imports cars that have featured in some of my videos. He might be able to import you something
Enjoy your reviews and the channel (especially as the former owner of a six speed manual 06 Accord Euro S). As the current owner of a six speed manual 2011 Honda CR-Z, how does the S660 compare and which do you prefer?
The CR-Z is definitely more comfortable, faster, better specced, and for the money it is genuinely a better car. But there's no denying the S660 will probably get more looks.
i've been eyeing this car for a long time and the more i do the more i want it. great video, the height is definitely one thing i was a bit worried about, i'm less than 6ft so it should be fine, or i'm going to add some head bumper :D
Lower spec trim I get - that screen is really gonna date a car in a few years. I'm sure the lower spec ones with a manual will be the most desirable in a few years. In regards to CVT? Yeah I dunno either aye.
Is it possible to turn off the fake gearing for CVT? I feel that is rather counterproductive. You lose the efficiency of a CVT and speed of the gear change from of auto or manual.
@@henrysgarage3399 the ND will definitely be quicker, but the S660 will certainly get more looks and be more unique for sure. Also while not fast, it's immensely fun to drive and it's limits are very accessible

Lol the idea of a Kiwi Car Show is hilarious to me, every episode should end with the presenter rounding a blind corner on a mountain road at 100kmh only to find another Lunatic Kiwi ALSO hurtling towards him at like 100kmh and then the presenter swerving to avoid the car and then EASILY passing through those pathetic and useless wooden Twig fences and plummeting 100's of feet into the gorge below... Cause I can attest THAT'S WHAT IT'S LIKE TO DRIVE ONE OF THOSE GOD DAMN MOUNTAIN ROADS! Honest to god you Kiwi's are NUTS on those effing mountain roads. I still get panic attacks just remembering my experiences on the Manawatu Gorge. Tiny 80 year old grandmothers HURTLING around the blind corners at 100kmh+ with 100ft drops and then once coming up behind me fucking tail gaiting me as I do 60kmh around these BLIND CORNER OF DEATH and FALLING and then riding the horn as they finally burn past me... And seriously what fucking genius decided those planks of wood would make ANY difference to the safety or a 1-2.5tonne car doing 100kmh? THEY NOT STOPPING ANYBODY! A fucking Vespa would shatter one of them let alone a car or god forbid one of the many trucks and Busses. Jesus. When I came back to Australia after that trip I felt enormous gratefulness that our country is mostly flat and the roads weren't designed to tempt fate at every corner.
@@KiwiCarLife Damn... Losing my touch. I couldn't even bait you into an old fashioned pissing contest between our nations. What's the world coming to? Couldn't even get you to call me a silly Aussie bastard. Maybe I should've focused on the car's model numbers and the uh, unique, Kiwi pronunciation for it. Anyhow silliness aside you're running a good channel, I'm particularly a fan of all the old Japanese sports cars you feature. Wish I'd had the sense to buy an NSX like 15 years ago when they were still reasonable, they're gonna be priced like Toyota 2000GT's in a decade or two. Keep up the good work.

Yup they’re really awesome. You must have one of only a handful in the uk!
Only a few. My Honda dealer makes way for it as it requires fairly frequent oil changes as its engine is tiny.
I've wanted one of these for a while, we need a bunch of them imported into NZ to drop the prices a bit.
Yeah definitely - Only 5 in the country as of right now

Why do people go through all the hassle with bringing these into NZ only to go with the CVT box and lower spec beta trim? It beggars belief.
