The halls of Khitomer have changed into the headquarters for the Alliance and currently playing home to a meeting between Starfleet, The Klingon Defense Force and the Romulan Republic Navy as well as a host of others.
We also have intel that J'Ula is here and the USS Armiger and General Martok have been dispatched to investigate.

JG Hertzler (Gen Martok) is an amazing Trek actor.
I always love it when he's given a chance to make a speech.
This is truth.
"She'd make a good Romulan." If J'Ula heard that, she'd be even angrier than she already is.
Lol.
Love seeing Martok being respectful of the current Chancellor yet still a bit of an old school crumofgeon. Also his distrust of the Vorta is on brand, though I half expected him to say they've never seen "eye to eye."
Lol.
Hertzlers voice is so iconic; I would recognize it anywhere
The Odyssey class really is such a beautiful looking ship.
Ni it's not. Stop simping for trash
Agreed.
I disagree. I don’t like the angular design, I prefer the circular look of the enterprise D
@@joshuawilliams9247the Sojourner class might be more to you liking then.
5:00 Given how often ships warp into planets in this game. I'm half inclined to believe that 25th century warp drives are part phase cloak.
Good old Cryptic jank lol
Khitomer seems to have succeeded where Nimbus failed, it likely helps that this planet it more hospitable.
There is quite a lot of named characters both new and old are in this mission I would be intrigued if there could be more diplomatic missions involving such envoys & ambassadors.
Also, I'm pretty sure this is Old Khitomer. New Khitomer is supposed to be in the Gamma Quadrant if I recall.
@Occulatum Correct on both counts. I believe Ric was referring to it as newly refurbished? But it's Khitomer from Undiscovered Country. Nimbus on the other hand was a pipe dream no one thought would ever work so none of the factions wasted much in the way of resources or effort on it. In the STO timeline I believe the struggles since the Dominion War, especially after the Iconian War have given the factoons' leaders more clarity, and hope. Love seeing Ambassador Jiro Sugahara! Always so optimistic! His Fed Diplo Missions were always wacky and fun!
I thought it was in Delta
Memory Alpha lists it in the Beta sector.
@@OldJerzyDevil I meant New Khitomer.... there's a mission in the Delta Quadrant that has us Temporally transition to New Khitomer over in Kyana system.
@@captaindraco2286 New Khitomer is in the Gamma Quadrant.
I hope Khitomer becomes a social zone someday
Ambassador Goku? Well, we're all fucked.
Well at first I didn’t know what that comment you mentioned til I saw when Ric had to say goku then I nearly bust a gut after now realized the comment
I can't wait to see your reaction in a few missions. Honestly this was one of my favorite story arcs in the game
It was??? *slowly backs away*
@@kevinramsey417 😆😂 I know I'm probably in a minority but having played since the game came out all those many many years ago I just liked the feel of most of this arc. Now granted with the new one going on that one is easily taking the top spot for me but still I rather like this one.
I'm such a star Trek fan and I loved watching playthroughs but unfortunately I lost my sight over a year ago so I really appreciate your play by play commentary it makes it easier to know whats going on
One of the most useful event ships they released. And if you have both the Khitomer and Temer you have half the foundation for a pretty brutal AP build. The other half being consoles from the Phoenix boxes.
Hertzler continues to blow me away! :)
The thought of J’Ula having an army of augments along with Kahless reborn is absolutely terrifying yet intruiging
You should get one of the Alliance ships your Odyssey class has been through the ringer.
Can't see Hale switching out the Odyssey class for anything else.
@@BurningFlamesofDivineDragon The Lexington class as an extensive refit would make sense.
While I have my problems with the story arc, I do love this mission because we get re-introduced to our queen, Adet'pa.
You need to do a ship video on the Khitomer
Maybe Ric will wait and do one for each of the three Alliance ships currently in the game.
This is one heck of a mission played it though with my Klingon recruit Payth a rare sight within the KDF as he's a simple human. I had a great time with this story arc very fun.
The AFS Khitomer is a gorgeous ship design
I love the interaction with the Klingon ambassador with your added input. It's fun
Why do i remember this? I may have come across that mission prior or on one of my two characters that allready are close to the end of the story content... Temporal Mechanics all over again...
Thanks for playing and narrating it. :)
Nice video thanx! maaaan I am still so salty for no had get it that ship... is just so cool.
I Can't Wait For Your Reaction To The Current Arc With Janeway
Wonderful job on this episode playthrough proud to own the AFS Khitomer ship.
It's always been funny to me that Klingon ships are called birds of prey but (as far as I've seen), we've never seen or heard of any actual birds of prey native to the Klingon homeworld. Granted, I've only seen like half of TNG so I may be totally missing something.
They at all of them at the KDF version of BW3/Wingstop.
Great video great Star Trek. Great show
Ty so much for these play through vids. When I can't play the game myself, I can still watch & enjoy the game 😃.
The pathing in this block leaves a lot to be desired. NPC’s all over the furniture!
I know. And it is hilarious.
Vulcan: Walking on furniture is only logical.
They still haven't fixed the bug where D'Tan (the Republic leader) appears in the chat box standing on his table at the end of "Sphere of Influence". I think it happened in Ric's episode, too.
Maybe they should have moved the kiddie pool full of bloodwine further away from the Chamber of Alliance, instead of just out into the hallway.
I do wonder, when will star trek discovery address klingons again. they are the elephant in the room in discovery
As per ENT they have joined the Federation by the time of the Battle of Procyon V.
@@mrspidey80 yes but now in a post burn galaxy we have no idea what happened to them. Did they survive the burn? Are they still a part of the federation? Did they go back to their old ways? We need answers and I get the feeling we may not get them due to the writers not wanting to touch the Klingon redesign issue again.
They don't call him Kamakazi Kagren for nothing! :P
Keep up the great work.
one day they'll let us onboard the Khitomer so I can get a alliance bridge for my ships. ;)
That ship in the thumbnail just looks wrong to me. The saucer section needs to be as big or bigger than the secondary hull and I will hear no arguments to the contrary.
So I won't give you arquements to the contrary. but I disagree. I believe the saucer needs to be smaller :D
This is amazing, I hope to see more
I have STO on my PS4 and I'm missing so much because I don't have a personal TV in my room.
Jimpac issues a Dead or Alive bounty. Nice!
Let’s goooo
I absolutely love how gay that Vorta is 🏳️🌈
All four of the characters you have to talk to are interesting.
Honestly every vorta has always given me extreme gay vibes especially wayun and I live for it
I don't play STO but what type of ship is the one on the video thumbnail? I looks like StarFleet's attempt at making a Klingon ship...
The Khitomer class, the first joint ship between Federation and Klingon designers. The following year Cryptic "gave away" the Temer class, a joint Klingon-Romulan design, named after the Republic officer who died saving the Klingon delegation at Khitomer several years earlier.
This year's was the Jarok class carrier, a joint Federation-Romulan design named after Alidar Jarok, the Romulan admiral who tried to prevent a war between the Federation and Romulans on TNG.
@@ffnbbq So can only get these ships at certain times? And that is why I hate MMOs...
@@dboymax1 no you cant get them at certain times if you didnt unlock them when they were running the promotion you will never be able to get them ever. its a disgusting tactic to encourage players to dedicate all of their free time to the game as you never know when they are gonna offer a cool new "reward"
@@dboymax1 They give away certain ships for free during month-long events where you need to log in and play at least 1 of several specific activities once per day. You can also ***buy*** them during these events, of course.
Martok is missing an eye. Again.
Wow, that USS Khitomer is really...ungainly. Not an attractive design. I get what they were going for, but...me no likey. Love your channel, though! 😀🖖
It's a great over all design I think it's just it's a bit to over detailed. Less is more as they say
Don’t be mean to the Klingon lady tryna tell you about her family :(
The name Kagran has confused me ever since I did my first KDF playthrough. One of the default boffs has a very similar name
Was it K'gren by chance?
@@barrybend7189 yep in my head I always say "chagrin" lol
It all could be
In all honesty, I think this is the worst-written story arc in the entire game, and hope it never gets worse: there's no build-up or warning to the big twists, and it feels like too many characters either get off consequence-free, or don't earn forgiveness. There are so many decisions made here for which I cannot see a reason, and that bothers me as much as blowing up that B'rel early on, when we could have fired to disable instead (we blow up a lot of ships despite being Starfleet, but at least the Federation took responsibility for that one).
Honestly it seems like the entire arc got rewritten the moment they found out that the actress who plays l'rell was interested in doing voice work for STO.
Does anyone know when the server for Console is up and running again please..?

Klingon Lesbians? Klingon Lesbians!
Yeah does that actually surprise you? There is one thing Klingons love more than war and drinking and that is love.
Not the first time they've been in the game. There was also a couple we met during the Iconian war arc a while ago.
(That 1st instance of having alternative Klingon couples included in the game sent one of the forum mods over the deep end, and IIRC he lost his mod status in the forums because of it.)
Is there a problem?
There's the opposite of a problem! :3 @@BurningFlamesofDivineDragon
They would find a way to continue to taint STO with STD changes. Here I thought I could get back into the series.
Its an MMO they have to include everything. Plus there are a lot of folks out there that like STD I haven't seen the show myself but I've heard its...very interesting.
If you don't like that, you'll love when they add more PIC stuff in the near future.
@@BurningFlamesofDivineDragon I fully recommend it. It's first season is a bit rough, it feels like 3 different shows stitched together because it kind of is but seasons 2 through 4 are all awesome!
“ Good “ “ Story “ “ Line “
I think the time frame of this games stories is just way to short. 2 Years of constant warfare? What is this? Starhammer 40k?!
Yeah, there are a lot of major events are crammed into that timeframe, and [player character] goes from cadet to Fleet Admiral, while no other notable character seems to get promoted at all. Seems very condensed. 5 or 7 years might be more realistic. Or even 10 -12, to line up with the age of the game, but it would make the level-up a bit slow.

I dislike their efforts to try and be something other than a video game.
what do you mean?
Huh?
