Try making eggs in a basket with just egg whites. It’s most likely the yolk that is bothering his taste buds. (Such an acquired taste) :) p.s love watching your channel !!
It’s exactly like my son. If he takes two bites I thought it’s a win. My son is allergic in egg and cheese and super picky eater, i am always on thinking what he would like to eat.

It also happens to my 14 month old boy. He starts whining as I put him on high chair. He picks some veggies and brings it to his mouth, but then stops eating. Very stressful..he is only 20% percentile weight...

My almost 2 year old hates eggs, bananas - pretty much anything that's inexpensive and quick to fix up with a mushy texture. Great ideas!!

My son just turned 1 this past Saturday and omg I’m so glad I came across your video I was feeling so bad because my son just will not eat like I see other kids eat. He is the same like your son does not like eggs and my husband and I love eggs so I’m going to try the eggs in a basket to see if he likes that. Your son is so adorable! Im Hispanic and my baby does not love eggs either. I will mix scrambled eggs with some beans and he loves that! Give it a try. Plus extra good nutrition in the am 😉

you should get pasture raised eggs if you don't usually. they taste better. make sure they have an orange yolk, not yellow.

@@jesussalas4974 yes! She still is picky but I believe she is still exploring her food. Her favorites are pizza, broccoli, mac and cheese, cheese, rice, and popsicles! She will still eat small amounts but at times she will eat a lot so it varies. Just keep trying and they will eat when they’re hungry if not just save it for later. I Make her homemade popsicles with fruits and veggies which she loves and I don’t feel guilty giving it to her multiple times a day because sometimes that is all she wants to eat. She likes
To eat snacks all the time especially chips and anything crunchy. So I’ll just give her what she wants to eat and try other foods as well but if she doesn’t eat it I don’t stress about it. I hope this helps!!!!

I’m 26 weeks pregnant with a baby boy! Also my first child. I’ve been a nanny for 10yrs and I find that starting babies with veggies and fruits that aren’t too sweet help to create a non picky eater. Some foods I like to start babies with are avocado, purée asparagus, mashed peas, sweet potatoes. Then with time I will introduce more fruits like berries. Now the kids are a little older they love there veggies!

We taught our doberman the command “out of the kitchen” since he was a puppy. He knows that when we are sitting at the kitchen table that crossing that threshold is off limits! It’s so nice to eat in peace without a giant dog resting his head on the table begging or swiping food from kiddos😆 Guests love it too! Creates a more peaceful atmosphere ✨ Then when we are done, he gets to come and “clean up” the floor.

Thanks for sharing this video Nicole! You have made me happy to know that there are moms like me sailing in the same boat with picky eaters.
I have been using the same tips just like you mentioned in the video and the results are just the same.
Hence because my son is underweight, I have been forced to change my style of feeding him.
So now at the start of the meal I give him some time to eat by himself and then when everything starts to end up on the floor, I feed him by hand using the distraction feeding technique. This has helped my son feel fuller and put on weight.
Personally with my son's case, sticking to baby led weaning approach was that he was still hungry after mealtime and will end up drinking milk to fill up his tummy .
Same as my son, I also have to hand feed him mostly. He will wake up a couple of times at night to drink milk. He’s about 18 months now. Moms whose kids eat very well are so lucky😀. I buy a lot of vegetables and fruits and times have to throw away. All he wants is milk. Good luck with your little angel, hopefully all picky eaters come around 😀

And yes my son is a very picky eater as well and he just turned 17 months. 🤦🏻♀️ Sometimes I’m not going to lie it drives me a little crazy when I have to make soo many different meals a day just praying he would chow down one whole meal without 1/2 of it ending up on the floor lol 😂 Thank you so much for sharing it kind of brings a peace of mind knowing I’m not the only mom struggling with a toddler whose also very picky. ☺️ BTW !! My niece chocked on noodles that were just literally stacking in the back of her throat when she was younger. Totally random. But I didn’t want to not say anything!

My son is pretty good with food but I relate so so much to your dog struggles 😂 my dog and my child are the best friends and companions in crime, but only during meal time. If the kid is not eating the dog won't even come near, but when there is food involved he won't move an inch from the high chair 🐕

My baby is just like this lol sometimes I give it 2 my husband honestly he has extremely amazing patience with my lil princess she is a horrible eater I felt bad also so thank you 4 the video I feel like there is more moms out there like me.
Have you tried putting the food in a ice cream cone . I do that and beau eats well. Sometimes i put his mince and use mashed sweet potato on top with a little sprinkle of cheese.
My favorite way to get my son to eat eggs is either with a savory or breakfast muffin that I make. The savory egg muffins that I make call for 6 eggs and the batch makes 8 muffins-so each muffin has close to an entire egg. I freeze the muffins then when I want to give my toddler one I just take one out of the freezer, wrap it in foil and bake it until it’s warmed through. Another cool way to get eggs in is to grate a potato to make hash browns then scramble an egg and toss it into the grated potatoes (I also like to add either cheese or green onions to the mix) the fry the whole thing like a giant pancake. My son LOVES potatoes so he will eat this right up. Picky eaters are hard!

I get my baby to eat egg by pureeing it in with other stuff he likes, like pasta sauce. It makes the puree or sauce nice and creamy too.

Talking about the biggest allergens my lil bash is allergic to eggs. I've tried giving it to him and every time 😪 hopefully he grows out of it. I feel you on the picky eater. I was so proud of my lil one eating so good and loving all his vegetables and since he turned one 🥴 it's all bad 😆 trying to hide the veggies!

Does your son have any issue taking the horizon organic milk? Did he ever had trouble pooping? My son is on lactaid and is still having trouble pooping it out.
We use the EZPZ mat too and I would say we have success with it about 85% of the time lol! Our LO eats like crazy so the majority of the time he gets distracted by the food and forgets about the mat.
It's so hard to make three meals and we have to avoid eggs because our LO is allergic! We tried HELLOFRESH a few months ago and we really liked it too! It was also a fun little "date night" at home when we did it. Especially during the whole quarantine time hah
