It will be fun on typical tight circuits or hills, There it is going excel than what 3/4 cylinder will offer I bet . Iam one for it only if KTm could have priced at least 1-1.5 Lc less would have worked wonder. Nice review as well.
Z900 has been calling and it is still irresistable. Z900 is a purist's bike and helps one learn, mature as a rider due to the absence of the electronics overload. Also, It is absolutely safe in the hands of a responsible and sensible rider even without any electronic goodies. It looks more premium and with a 4 pot soul stirring sound as well.
Duke 790 wont make sense to anyone unless they have owned a duke 390 ! With all this equipment for 10lacs its a great deal for the ktm fan ! Great for touring with good positioning ! Street triple rs costs 16 lacs straight ! Z900 has 4 cylinders bt think about it, the difference ktm 390 made with a single cylinder is the same with the 790's parallel twin ! And thats what excites everyone ! Wheelie control, traction control, one of the best MID,lighter than z900 and the lights are'nt bad with 16 leds! All this sums up to one of the best upgrades ever!

The problem is the price , almost x3 than the duke 390. At least in colombia the duke 790 cost almost x2 than the duke 390. BTW, great bike I felt more confortable than the duke 200 and duke 390 (I am 6'1 ft or 186 cm), is a bike for tall people
Now experts without riding this bike will come up with excuse like heating issues non reliable inline 4 is more value for money and has better sound. Who the hell buys a sports bike for sound ?
@@nikhildrao227 , Those fan boy days are long gone..We know the reliability issues related with KTM bikes...There are plenty of awessome 4 Cylinder bikes are available at that price..which are built like a tank...I have ridden the D790..trust me...its not as polished as other Japanese brands...i Would still pick up a Z800 pre owned any day....
The its composition the gsxr 650 and z900 are better option in my mind considering there price but at this price I would definitely go for the mighty street tripple.
0 to 100 is pretty fast.. 3 seconds.. thats litre class standard.. plus auto blipper and electronic wizardry.. but still the price is on the higher side coz we expect ktm's to be cheaper..
