I'm so excited Kathleen talked about this product. Because it's an item you buy through a consultant, I feel like it doesn't get the hype it deserves. A lot of their products are awesome (a friend brought me to a party for this once) and I fell in love. This is my fave item though.
I use a mix of castor oil and grapeseed oil to take my eye makeup off with. I've been using it for over a year and my lashes are so nice. Now it doesn't lengthen them or make more of them, but they are so conditioned and shiny! Mascara goes on so well now!
I love body scrubs as I have dry skin they really make a difference. I started to make my own last summer and its so fun plus I always know exactly whats in them. I have made coffee ones and sugar ones ( brown and white sugar) I have even made sugar in the raw ones. I have never tried a salt scrub though so I'll have to check that out. I also do my own lip scrubs, exfoliating facial scrubs, and rose water face sprays using roses from my garden. I save so much money making things myself and I find it so fun to create.

Be careful, dear- I read an article in a magazine recently that said coffee grounds can really mess up the pipes in your house! It's too bad because the texture is so nice!
i try not to use it too often because it can be a tad bit "harsher" of an exfoliate. Luckily because my house is a little older my tub drain doesnt have a stopper in it and I had to buy one of those ones that are screens from the dollar store, kinda like one you would use for the kitchen sink and that collects anything that might clog my pipes. ie coffe grinds, hair, dirt stuff like that. Thanks for the tip though because actually I never really thought of it either way like I said luckily I had to buy one of those things all ready because I defiantly would not have thought about it otherwise lol
*Just a bit of a warning about matcha*: It contains 30X more *Lead* than regular green tea so drink moderately & I don't suggest giving some to children! Plus, idk about Starbucks bc I don't go there, but a lot of the prepared matcha here in the U.S. have added sugars, so I suggest buying the real thing and preparing it yourself. Edit: Just watched the rest of the vid and Kathleen said Starbucks indeed add sugar in theirs.

I bought castor oil for my lashes after having a really bad allergy to an eyeliner that made my lashes fall out. And it made such a difference! Then I tried it on the ends of my hair too and left it over night then washed it in the morning. Works wonders! Love Castor oil. ❤️
Hey girl! Use the castor oil with coconut oil as a hair treatment. I add some tea tree as well and leave on at least 4 hours preferably overnight. Plan on washing it out REALLY thoroughly.

I have been using castor oil for over a year on everything! Eyelashes, under eyes, bug bites, rashes it works great for pretty much everything. Do a mask on your hair, put a ton on your scalp through to the ends and keep on for about 20 -30 mins then take a shower and use your normal routine. It washes out clean because its water soluble. Great for frizz and growing your hair.

there's sugar in all Starbucks special beverages and a lot! Kathleen rub the castor oil through your hair and rub in your scalp. Leave it on for a while. You can put a shower cap over it for heat if you want. Then wash your hair. you can do that with coconut oil too. Your hair comes out so lovely
Another thing you can use is this avocado seed oil mascara. They sell them at walgreens and they're usually by the mexican aisle. It really helps to grow out your lashes!

I'm going to have to try that Bare Minerals bronzer because it looks so beautiful on your skin. I just bought the baked powder duo with a matte side and a opalescent side. It's even better than the Hourglass ambient powders! It's a subtle skin perfecter. I made the mistake of putting the opalescent side all over my face and man was I shiny! I couldn't get rid of the shine for nothing since it wasn't oil! That really sold me on how subtle and natural the shine is on that side. The setting powder side does what it claims to as well. I also have dry skin like you so you might enjoy this too.

kathleen i put castrol oil on my eyelashes and hair, but when I put it on my hair you have to use with another oil to make it less thick i use cold pressed black seed oil with castor oil and it does wonders

you might have tried this already but im loving the rainforest of the sea facial mist. it smells so good and does give you a nice glow. they have a little travel sized kit for like 10 or 13 bucks. also loving the sheer lipsticks from UD which were on sale for 11 dollars... might be all gone now but the colors sheer anarchy and sheer shame are amazing as a light wash of color but theyre very pigmented.
The simple micellar water (and bioderma) stung my eyes so badly too! BUT now I use the Garnier micellar for sensitive skin and it's so nice and gentle and works amazingly x

Not sure if you will see this, but this is my first time finding out about matcha powder & i drink A LOT of green tea so it sounded perfect to me...after about 15 minutes of googling it, i found out it has a lot of lead in it :/ apparently like 30 times more than 1 cup of green tea which is obviously super bad. Apparently you're only supposed to have 1gram of matcha powder a day to be safe but now I'm scared to buy it at all. I hope you're not drinking more than that! Lead stays in your bones for up to like 30 years so I'm worried about the long terms effects it could have if you're drinking a lot of it. I hope nothing bad will happen to you but I also hope you researched it a bit before drinking it :) I loveee your channel btw. You're one of my favourite youtubers!! :) xox
it is all dependant on the quality of the matcha and where it comes from! you have to do your research on the company to see if they test for it! Chinese matcha has been found to have much higher levels of lead than Japan, so it depends on origin too. look for matcha brands that are FDA and JONA certified like DoMatchas organic summer harvest! do your research then reap the benefits!
After I made this comment I researched it some more & found that out. I went to my local health food store to get some & they had one from Japan with no lead at all! Im glad to know you can get some without lead. Thanks for your comment though :)
Now that you mention it, I didnt really read the packet to see if it said it. But the lady at the store told me it didn't & where I'm from the people that work at that specific health store have to have qualifications in health (or something like that anyway) so they know what they're talking about to I just believed her. I stopped drinking the tea after my 2nd cup too because it tastes like fish (and I hate seafood) so if you haven't tried it yet, keep that in mind lol

Kat, I totally feel you, over the summer last year, I got some semi permanent lashes for a cruise trip I was going on, and when they started to come to lift at the corners I decided to take the rest off myself, and it took almost all my lashes with it. I WAS SO UPSET! And I had the same issue, mascara just made them look worse )): but within a couple months they grew back, and this time fuller and longer, I guess it wasn't such a bad thing after all. Hey girl! Use the castor oil with coconut oil as a hair treatment. I add some tea tree as well and leave on at least 4 hours preferably overnight. Plan on washing it out REALLY thoroughly.

I have been using castor oil for over a year on everything! Eyelashes, under eyes, bug bites, rashes it works great for pretty much everything. Do a mask on your hair, put a ton on your scalp through to the ends and keep on for about 20 -30 mins then take a shower and use your normal routine. It washes out clean because its water soluble. Great for frizz and growing your hair.

I mix it with a little hot water first, let it cool a bit, then add the ice and water, coconut milk, etc.

there's sugar in all Starbucks special beverages and a lot! Kathleen rub the castor oil through your hair and rub in your scalp. Leave it on for a while. You can put a shower cap over it for heat if you want. Then wash your hair. you can do that with coconut oil too. Your hair comes out so lovely

I'm going to have to try that Bare Minerals bronzer because it looks so beautiful on your skin. I just bought the baked powder duo with a matte side and a opalescent side. It's even better than the Hourglass ambient powders! It's a subtle skin perfecter. I made the mistake of putting the opalescent side all over my face and man was I shiny! I couldn't get rid of the shine for nothing since it wasn't oil! That really sold me on how subtle and natural the shine is on that side. The setting powder side does what it claims to as well. I also have dry skin like you so you might enjoy this too.

I havent tried it, ever. Been thinking about it for over a year now. I had to get my eyelashes trimmed entirely, because I got in an accident with glue.... And they are super tiny and stubby now... I hope it works.

I felt like I looked like an alien, without the eye lashes. plus I'm already blind as a bat( I wear glasses) so the whole ordeal made everything worse, but thank god I had a good support system and a great doctor . I was very blessed to not have lost my sight so yeah, thank God! 🙏😊
kathleen i put castrol oil on my eyelashes and hair, but when I put it on my hair you have to use with another oil to make it less thick i use cold pressed black seed oil with castor oil and it does wonders

you might have tried this already but im loving the rainforest of the sea facial mist. it smells so good and does give you a nice glow. they have a little travel sized kit for like 10 or 13 bucks.
also loving the sheer lipsticks from UD which were on sale for 11 dollars... might be all gone now but the colors sheer anarchy and sheer shame are amazing as a light wash of color but theyre very pigmented.

The simple micellar water (and bioderma) stung my eyes so badly too! BUT now I use the Garnier micellar for sensitive skin and it's so nice and gentle and works amazingly x

Kathleen, I have bought a salt oil scrub that is amazing, the brand its called Sanctuary, it has dead sea salts wrapped in moisturising coconut, jojoba and sweet almond oils and it is soooooo much cheaper than the Seacret one, you should try it it is unbelievable!!!

Not sure if you will see this, but this is my first time finding out about matcha powder & i drink A LOT of green tea so it sounded perfect to me...after about 15 minutes of googling it, i found out it has a lot of lead in it :/ apparently like 30 times more than 1 cup of green tea which is obviously super bad. Apparently you're only supposed to have 1gram of matcha powder a day to be safe but now I'm scared to buy it at all. I hope you're not drinking more than that! Lead stays in your bones for up to like 30 years so I'm worried about the long terms effects it could have if you're drinking a lot of it. I hope nothing bad will happen to you but I also hope you researched it a bit before drinking it :) I loveee your channel btw. You're one of my favourite youtubers!! :) xox
it is all dependant on the quality of the matcha and where it comes from! you have to do your research on the company to see if they test for it! Chinese matcha has been found to have much higher levels of lead than Japan, so it depends on origin too. look for matcha brands that are FDA and JONA certified like DoMatchas organic summer harvest! do your research then reap the benefits!
After I made this comment I researched it some more & found that out. I went to my local health food store to get some & they had one from Japan with no lead at all! Im glad to know you can get some without lead. Thanks for your comment though :)

Now that you mention it, I didnt really read the packet to see if it said it. But the lady at the store told me it didn't & where I'm from the people that work at that specific health store have to have qualifications in health (or something like that anyway) so they know what they're talking about to I just believed her.
I stopped drinking the tea after my 2nd cup too because it tastes like fish (and I hate seafood) so if you haven't tried it yet, keep that in mind lol

Kat, I totally feel you, over the summer last year, I got some semi permanent lashes for a cruise trip I was going on, and when they started to come to lift at the corners I decided to take the rest off myself, and it took almost all my lashes with it. I WAS SO UPSET! And I had the same issue, mascara just made them look worse )): but within a couple months they grew back, and this time fuller and longer, I guess it wasn't such a bad thing after all. Love you lots!
