Kansas really deserves to go to the N.I.T this year to be honest. Yes, they had injuries, but they were 3 - 7 on the road BEFORE the injuries and we don’t rank a team based on how good they might be if only they had no injuries, we rank them as they are.
UC took full advantage of Kansas injury situation, which is what good teams do. UC has a legitimate chance of beating Baylor, last time they played UC lost by 3 at Baylor. It should be a good battle.
They got blown out by Texas Tech this year before any injuries and were 3 - 7 on the road with almost all those losses at “full strength”. KU has a massive home court advantage (refs??) and scheduled most of their games at home. Otherwise, they’d be not in the top 25 even. Honestly, they should drop out and play on the NIT.
@@xxyyzz8464 That 3-7 road record doesn't include their 3-2 record at neutral sites. They beat Kentucky in Chicago and Tennessee in Maui. Yes, the UConn win came at home, but they're freaking UCONN. You can't just pretend big wins didn't happen because they were early in the season.
No outside shooting and the ball handling from the guards (I don't know if they have point guards anymore) is suspect. Just an all around bad season for the JayHawks
Congrats to Cincy on a nice win, BUT…. this Kansas team shouldn’t even he ranked at this point. They were always inconsistent, could never win on the road (3 - 7 on the road), and have no depth so once you get just an injury or two (as all teams have to deal with) they were DONE.
