Here in the U.K at the time this came out, we recognized the dopeness!
I spent years tracking this down as I had it on a very old pirate radio recording.

When I first heard this in 88',,,my whole body went through a ultramagnetic experience. Goose bumps, can't describe it,one of tha dopest underground joints ever....beat,soft horn's,and lyrics, #Unbelievable!...and Chuck was week on tha wheels on KISS,good production tho. It's still in my top 10 all-time.

This would be a hot blend with I know you got soul Eric B and Rakim or Bedtime story Slick Rick! I can hear it now!

Deuces Wild was the first stage name used by Derrick Keyes. His second is Nine. Unfortunately, Wikipedia doesn't have this information posted.

In case if anybody don't know, DJ Mark The 45 King did the beat on that Deuces Wild record. According to what Funk Flex had said on his radio show, Mark got handled on the credit. Which he didn't get for this track.
