What a great review. There is an engineer who reviews things, & while he is very knowledgeable, he constantly changes what he is doing , & his descriptions are self generated. If he explains something that I understand perfectly, if he describes it I have to get a textbook out & relearn how the damned thing works,. Your brief & concise descriptors, your constant audio levels & your articulation are all excellent ! I have subscribed to your "channel" Thank you Sir. Cheers!
Excellent review! I’ve had some digital electronics training and used a CRT scope but only in class not professionally so I have a basic understanding. I’ve got a project truck with an intermittent and random stumble with the ignition system. It’s a 94 OBD1 with no way to view real time circuit waveforms to see what circuit is stumbling. This meter may be my solution to finding the problem child. Most of my initial checks are going to be 14.1 vdc but I was wondering if a high voltage probe exists for this meter in the 30kv to 40kv range?
Would you hook the oscilloscope leads to the prongs in lieu of the side post if you were going to test the waveform of the electricity coming into your house?
The unit was provided to you but you are not compensated.. are you free to keep the scope after the review? If so then you are paid for the review and should just say so
@@Rickmakes the part where you lie to your viewers question and say the item has no redeemable cash value. I suspect your channel has devolved into a Chinese shopping Channel with favorable reviews to keep the chicom device delivery service to your front door happy. Just like Kerry Wongs channel. You sold out.
You can but I found it to be tricky to connect to mains. I use it to do that here: ruclips.net/video/TupGH3qHFCQ/видео.htmlsi=eMzaf_cz9y46eyGm&t=412 I think I stuck some multimeter probes into the outlet and connected the oscilloscope probe and ground to them.
Easy and safe way to do this is get a bell / furnace transformer , 120 to 24 volt , put a plug on the 120 volt side of the xmfr. and check frequency on the 24 volt output
Great Job Man... Now I know how to use my new scope! Thank You ✊🏾☝🏾💯

Sebetulnya bisa memakai sistim kopling AC yang memanfaatkan kapasitor tegangan tinggi.bisa kita buat sendiri dengan mudah.
Very good review 👍
What about duty cycle, how to check ?

I do keep the scope but I can't use it to pay for groceries at the grocery store.
Absolutely agreed
Yeah, right, but you are not smart enough to sell it for 50 bucks to buy food. You are being petty and disingenuous to your viewers@@Rickmakes

What is the website for the singal generator you use in you review?

Can you you use it to see the mains ac waveform?

Can you used this w/ an low amp DC clamp???
Nice review.
I'm not sure and I unfortunately don't have one to test.
Is the multimeter part true RMS? 🤔
Yes.
