So great thanks for the vid. My mate has convinced me to do something similar. I'm a total newbie when it comes to snow so going to give it a bash with my experienced mates. Great vid cheers
No worries, glad you liked it. We had a ball and to be honest the conditions were pretty horrendous. Definitely worthwhile getting out and having a crack. Just make sure you have the right gear cause it gets bloody cold :)
Great video, my friend! Great winter camp! Enjoyed watching, your and bushcraft skills are terrific! And the surrounding nature is amazing. Cheers from Russia, buddy,, and welcome to my channel about special Russian bushcraft tips and hacks! Best wishes, Yuriy! ✌🙂
Thanks mate! We had a great time out there! We were pretty new at the time of this video so it's nice to hear we have decent skills. I'll have to check out some of your tips 👌
@@NickandRachel I just had a quick peak at a couple of your videos. I have to show Candace the review of the sleeping mats! I always complain about how expensive they are... Maybe it's time to downgrade 😂😂
The snow around Thredbo is most reliable around the end of July and August. However, the ski field usually opens from the June long weekend so there is a strong chance that there will be some snow.
It's a makeshift remote campsite, not a dedicated site. I couldn't tell you exactly where it was but we walked several hours west of the top of the Kosciusko chairlift
Nice video..I love threadbo.
Cheers mate, it is such a great spot! One of Australia's best
Awesome video !
Thanks mate 👌

Do you reckon the snow will be enough around the end of June?
