I have found Vasque boots to have good waterproofing and overall they are a fine hiking boot. However, they tend to be narrow in the toe box. The only pair of boots I ever owned in a wide width have been Vasque as medium was narrow. i own the Ultra Dry Talus and also the Breeze 2.
