@CrazyCavalier oranges, apples, and other things have sugar- most stuff does but that doesn't mean it's not healthy, there are other things in honey that make it healthy- no different then fruit
It’s actually a Sydney accent, where I live Melbourne which is also in Australia, we do not sound like that. It’s just a Sydney one. Everywhere else we sound different.
I was gonna say.....matcha is just as high on caffeine as coffee, also Coke, and Black tea.... (Yeah black teas has Caffeine in it) and Chai ALSO HAS CAFFEINE IN IT
Doesn't match have MORE caffeine than coffee? I think our bodies absorb it differently though. I THINK black tea even has more caffeine than coffee does, but I can't remember.
You should put the whisk in hot water before so the bristles can soften up and don’t break over time and maybe also get a ceramic stand for it ( they are very pretty 😉) so it keeps it’s shape when it dries after use
I switched coffee for matcha a few weeks ago and I'm so happy I did. I dare you to try matcha plain, no milk, just hot water and the powder. It tastes like the green tea some Chinese restaurants give you. So good.
Yes I live matcha! You should try the matcha tea with red beans at your nearest boba shop. Don’t worry the beans are actually sweet! But I love you and your videos soo much’! 💅🏼💖💅🏼💅🏼🥰😊☺️
From Starbucks I get matcha with oat milk 2 pumps of chai and vanilla sweet cream cold foam it’s really good and the foam gives the sweetness and tones down the grassyness of the matcha taste
I've never had that particular matcha but my guess is if you bought it from a super market it's not great... Go to a local Japanese store if you have one or you can order some online- my favorite is from Alfred! Quality matcha will be smooth, umami, aromatic and subtly sweet (the best comes from Uji). You also need to be careful how hot the water is because it can actually burn it and make it bitter
…….😮 but- wait- oh- oh American matcha ! Phew I’m no matcha expert but in school(here in Japan) my friend had a tea ceremony class (she likes tea, I don’t really like tea) I had an opportunity to try the class during school festival it was really nice the room was tatami there’s rules in what foot first and how to walk and how many steps and rules again while making the tea, and that matcha the sensei served me was probably the best I’ve had . It was just plain matcha … watching him make it and the others it was really peaceful there’s not much talking only a few instructions from him (there’s two rows I was in front of the teacher and the first row made it and served us first and we watched then we served them next) it was honestly relaxing especially since their building is far away from the usual classes (they share a building with the flower arrangement class, dummy and broke me took pottery class and all the physical education ones I wish I had taken those two classes)
There's several methods within Japan to consume matcha. They range from informal like matcha cake, semi formal like serving matcha to guests, formal tea ceremony at a company meeting with a client to religious tea ceremony (the most strict one). So there's no "American matcha", it's the same matcha (as the tea is only grown and produced in Japan) being consumed and served for a different purpose. Otherwise do you honestly think that the matcha they sell you in vending machines, the matcha mochi and the matcha served in restaurants in Japan go through the extensive tea ceremony that lasts all day?
Also physical education isn't optional in Japan, its a class that is mandatory and included in your base classes. Pottery, flower arrangement and tea education are actually after school clubs which are free as not many schools in Japan has a class dedicated in those subjects alone unless you were wealthy....
Matcha also has caffeine, I LOVE matcha but I drink moringa when I don’t want caffeine. It’s a similar taste to matcha, you can prepare it the same way as matcha, looks the same, and it has a lot of health benefits.
"i spent so much money on trying to like matcha" Girl it's okay to have your own interests, you don't like matcha? that's fine, you don't have to Be your own person
Omg I forced myself to like strawberrys bc at that point all the ytbers I watched always said there fav fruit were strawberrys and watermelon so made myself eat strawberries even if they were sour but now when my taste buds have fully developed I actually like them. Looking back now it's really funny. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
First! I've never been this early before! That matcha art is alot better then when I tried, it ended up on the bench 🙄🤭 I think I've tried matcha before but I probably didn't like it 🙃 Also random question, did you see those 2 reels I sent you? The first was one of a sunset and the second was of a dog screaming? Edit: omg thanks so much for 17 likes Edit 2: shreking hell, 34 like?
Traditionally matcha is eaten with something sweet. I drink matcha every day almost and the taste is something to get used to. I suggest buying a higher quality matcha as the taste is worth the price. I’m also not sure what milk you’re using but oat milk is the best for matcha. Hope this helps!
Matcha still has caffeine, but better than coffee. I don't like either. Matcha tastes like grass to me and coffee tastes burnt or bitter even with anything added; it also makes me sleepy so I don't drink it. :b I switched to sparkling waters and that's helped keep my hydrated and not drink too much caffeine for my anxiety.
make a pistachio nut muffin latte... add to matcha a little vanilla, almond, and hazelnut... really you probably really only need the almond but it's fantastic
ok so basically at starbucks u should try the Mathca again but with oatmilk sweet cold foam and vanilla syrup it will probally taste better then just plain matcha but yea👍🏻
I'm posting daily on ig too 🥰 come say hi 😇 @sarahjanebetts
Girl just get decaf coffee!!!!
Hey, you’re suppose to boil the matcha whisk before using it to open it up, without doing that it could destroy the whisk and cause it to mold!
You’re supposed to soak the Matcha sterling anything in hot water before using 🍵
This is your best friend or boyfriend
I MISS YOU DATING HIM 😭
Put real vanilla extract in and a drizzle of honey! Then it’s fully healthy too 🍵
@CrazyCavalier Honey has hundreds of fantastic health benefits. It’s natural sugars not processed which is completely different.
@CrazyCavalier honey isn’t refined and as processed as white sugar…….
@CrazyCavalier oranges, apples, and other things have sugar- most stuff does but that doesn't mean it's not healthy, there are other things in honey that make it healthy- no different then fruit
it's more koffein in Green tea then in coffee.
"healthy" my ass
“Even though I just duuurrrn”

Me, an American, restraining every single part of my being to not make fun of an Australian accent 🪦
I was looking for this comment lol
It’s actually a Sydney accent, where I live Melbourne which is also in Australia, we do not sound like that. It’s just a Sydney one. Everywhere else we sound different.
This is the exact reason I came to comments
No one cares
Fun fact : matcha is also high in caffeine so try to not drink it every day
Lol I was like ummm.....so who is going to tell her
I was gonna say.....matcha is just as high on caffeine as coffee, also Coke, and Black tea.... (Yeah black teas has Caffeine in it) and Chai ALSO HAS CAFFEINE IN IT
Doesn't match have MORE caffeine than coffee? I think our bodies absorb it differently though. I THINK black tea even has more caffeine than coffee does, but I can't remember.
its probably kitchen grade so it won't be too bad
Tea is actually higher in caffeine than coffee but it just goes through your system slower
Her: doesn't want caffeine
Also her: buys matcha which has even more caffeine
💀

SAME!!! It’s actually become an addiction now and I’m not ashamed🙃
You should put the whisk in hot water before so the bristles can soften up and don’t break over time and maybe also get a ceramic stand for it ( they are very pretty 😉) so it keeps it’s shape when it dries after use
Glad someone said this
matcha is very caffeinated ….. maybe just try decaf coffee if you like coffee lol
This hurts me in so many ways. But you do your thing, girl. You do your thing.
If you don’t do this already I really recommend using coconut milk instead. It blends with the matcha so well and elevates the flavour imo ❤
I switched coffee for matcha a few weeks ago and I'm so happy I did. I dare you to try matcha plain, no milk, just hot water and the powder. It tastes like the green tea some Chinese restaurants give you. So good.

I love azuki beans. It's always so hard to convince others that beans can be sweet, but it's so good
your hair looked gorgeous!! ❤❤
The matcha cream-based frappe from Starbucks is so good😋
Try it with white chocolate and lavender!! Heavenly
Any sort of white chocolate syrup would make that taste 10x better it’s a match made in heaven istg
"Even though i just DERNT"
When she said you have the make it YOUR SELF it sounded like her accent ** disappeared **
From Starbucks I get matcha with oat milk 2 pumps of chai and vanilla sweet cream cold foam it’s really good and the foam gives the sweetness and tones down the grassyness of the matcha taste
You made it my favorite way!!! Vanilla for the win!
Try it with soya milk and 2 pumps of vanilla. The soya milk makes it slightly sweater and creamier and the vanilla adds flavour
Matcha is yummy with vanilla and strawberry cold foam or strawberry purée. 🍵🍓
Get a matcha at dunkin! It’s so good, if u want a lot of flavor ask for a extra scoop of it I do it all the time and it tastes so good!

Am i the only one who thinks her coffee art was really good?
With vanilla it's great. I love vanilla & maple syrup & real, whole milk.😍
Your latte art was 🔥🔥🔥 I was a barista for 3 months and never came close to that lol
I put fruit in mine, usually raspberry or strawberry and a touch of vanilla 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽
Matcha sweetened with maple syrup is my favorite flavor combo
…….😮 but- wait- oh- oh American matcha ! Phew

I'm obsessed with lavender matcha with oat milk, it's very tasty iced :)
You HAVE to try matcha bubble tea!! It's the best 👍💯

Make sure to soak the whisk in hot water for 2-3 min before whisking to keep from fraying / splintering over long term
ilysm your vids are the best ❤❤❤
I swear that coffee art is better that anything
the best matcha is ceremonial and usually either is shipped from Japan or sold by one of its USA distributors
Oh I found a matcha whisk at my local tea shop! Local small businesses are great if you want to find specialty items.
Vanilla and white chocolate syrup in matcha it's so gooooood
Raspberry syrup or u can crush raspberries in a lemon squeezer to go with the matcha. Great combo of sweet and bitter
It’s so good I genuinely love matcha
I love my daily Matcha! 💓 Really calms me down!! Lower caffeine.
At Starbucks I always get vanilla in it it’s soooo good ❤
Love you Sarah. I really want to like iced tea but I just can’t xx
Try it with maple syrup!! It's so good I promise
"i spent so much money on trying to like matcha"
Girl it's okay to have your own interests, you don't like matcha? that's fine, you don't have to
Be your own person
Yes but sometimes you just REALLY need to speedrun acquiring that taste because everyone enjoys it so much and you want to enjoy it 😭😭
I normally use coconut milk with it and have it iced
Matcha is usually around the same amount of caffeine as coffee but it can have less if its made a certain way
That vanilla syrup is soo good
matcha is delishhh.. i’m make it at home with brown sugar and if u go to starbucks get it with two pumps of brown sugar😮😮it’s so good
Usually you want a high quality matcha, and use a lower heat water. 70C ideally.
Brown sugar foam is the best on matcha latte
I remember the first time i had matcha, what a heavenly experience 😊
Try it iced with Trader Joe’s boba ice cream on it it is so good!
I'm telling you I said the sameeee thing and now I love matcha lemonade soo much !!!
Raspberry flavour with it is delicious!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
If you look on Amazon there are a pack of different matcha flavors like vanilla peppermint lychee and I think a few more
Blooming your matcha in cold water can be really yummy too
Try the brown sugar matcha from Starbucks and if it’s too “matcha-y” which is what I thought, try adding pumps of white mocha or any sweetener
Your hair looks so healthy ❤😍
I think you should try the Matcha Latte powder instead if the normal Matcha if you like the sweeter version better! Just a tip!
Brown sugar, or honey is good to sweeten it too.
At Caribou Coffee we put Vanilla in our Matcha Lattes.
First! I've never been this early before! That matcha art is alot better then when I tried, it ended up on the bench 🙄🤭

You should try a iced mocha latte with vanilla bean from dunkin
Try coconut flakes or, even better, coconut syrup. My fav drink is matcha with coconut, trust me, it’s the best
In Japan the traditional way to drink match is you out the powder and then hot water wisk it’s until there is foam and then drink it
I love matcha and it's the best caffeine alternative as well. Hope you love it as much as me 💚
Try the matcha latte iced from starbucks with coconut milk and 3 pumps of peppermint
