Great idea Dave!! Giving me some thoughts to try and do the same in my Bakki shower in the spring when I start it up. 👍

Very cheeky way of creating a shower combined with a sieve. Looks like it’s gonna work a treat. I think I’m gonna steal your idea for my shower in the spring 😊. Nice DIY, creative…

You’ve done the right thing with raising the shower tray so that they don’t damage themselves. I’ve always wondered why the Koi Whisper has his momotaro steel showers almost in the water….Doh!!

Will be interesting to see how the sieve performs once the warmer weather is here and fish are both more active and eating more.

That seems to work very nicely will have to consider making one (do you have a link for the mesh)👍

Just an idea Dave - redo the spray bar but don’t drill holes. Get a small angle grinder and cut slits across the pipe. The water then falls in lines rather than in jets and you’ll get more water over the sieve

Brilliant idea Dave - can I ask if you could remind me where you got your cover net from please? Really like the seamed edges - far more durable than my current net. Cheers

The net has been great. I got mine through koi water barn but they are made by Norfine nets. A bit pricey but well worth it 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

You have fluff in your iphone charge port, get something to poke it out with.
On a sepparate note, i think you need a little more powerfull return pump to satisfy both the return AND the shower,
keep up the good work on the vids
