Idea- if there is a way to quickly etch a word into the lid. provide custom service to allow people to order specific words, (or come up with 50 words and create a poll or email list for those who want to vote and the ones that receive the most interest, you create a batch and see how much better they may sell, and charge a little more) Words luj 'Gratitude' or 'My Precious' or 'Intentional' or 'I love you' or 'Amy's Wedding' or 'Memorabilia' or 'Mommy' Words / phrases that spark emotion or reflection when the recipient looks over at the box (or 'tear drop vessel') that they received as a gift from their loved one. It may remind them or a person or event in time. Additionally, if someone sends you a photo, you could cut it to shape and attach it to the inside of the lid. So if they really want to reminisce, they open the compartment and flip over the lid. Another idea is leave a little extra thickness in the base and embed magnets in the base, so that those who have metalic desks can store it on the side of their desk or on the side of other metalic suefaces.
Nice comment trigger. Aggghhh, the dowel cuts, what are you doing man?! Engagement at it's finest. Even got me to write. 10 extra points for 3d chess RUclips game. Go Ham. Thanks for your storytelling, inspiration, and knowledge sharing. Finally ordering a Pro journeyman after being patient to save up a portion and all my hobby and gift allowance for long enough to "justify" my next big tool. Joy to you and yours as we close out year and look towards longer, warmer days yet again. :)
@@HamiltonDilbeck Agreed, and beyond that, my wife would be guilty of homicide if I'd went with a Foreman. As it is, I am banned from getting any more large tools until my shop is "cleaned and organized", IOW NEVER, lol.

I'm guessing those dowels are what boredom looks like?
When you dropped that heavy thing on your head, just compare it to when Doc Brown hit his head on the toilet and came up with the Flux capacitor.
