    So the doors are not currently "wide open" to people on benifits but when the party is bigger they might be. Not every Communist and potential party member is physically or mentally able, young, a student, or in work, with respect think again comrade.

      Not wide open, no. But if someone wants to help build the party, and is in financial difficulty, we can have an open conversation about what they are able to contribute in other ways. We have members who are students, school students, unemployed, it's no problem!
      If you want to help, please write into the website and we can get you involved. 😊🚩💪

      @@celestialteapot309 it is not rigidly fixed, but we are setting the bar at 1 day's income per month. On the website the current suggestion is £30 for students, and £60 per month. But the main question is, are you interested in joining? We can discuss your particular financial contribution, based on your circumstances as you agree your membership with your local branch. Hope to work with you soon comrade!

    Your reasons for a 50 pound membership fee are definetly valid but I fear that people are going to stop listening to recruiters as soon as they'll mention that number. Although being upfront with the membership fee might help in not turning people off immedeatly.

      Communism has a history of leaving the ordinary people poorer and the elite at the top, very rich. The 50 pound membership fee isn't a surprise.

      thanks for your message, and the comradely tone. It may well turn off some people, but from experience we find it is best to be up front about what we need. Of course it is best to start on the political ideas and then if someone agrees, we have an open an up-front conversation about what they can contribute financially. Doesn't tend to get in the way. Last week a young worker joined on £200 per month! That is just one example, there are plenty more. The person who sent the message in to ask about our membership fees, also sent another message in after listening and said they thought we made a good point and were going to reach out to their local branch.
      So your concern is totally understandable, but I a happy to say that it doesn't get in the way of building a strong organisation in our experience, in fact it helps! There are plenty of people out there who want to fight this system and are willing to make sacrifices to do so!

      @@joerussell6445 The wages of the ordinary person in Communist countries were much lower than in the equivalent non-Communist countries, so that person who paid £200 a month seriously needs to think about this.

      @@joerussell6445 Thank you for replying!
      I've thought a lot about the membership fee the last few days and my scepticism eventually gave way to acceptance after some consideration.
      My biggest criticism was that you use the money to create print media, which in my opinion is outdated. However I eventually came to realise that without that newspaper there probably wouldn't even be a RUclips Channel, podcast or website which educated, informed and inspired me deeply the last few weeks.
      And on top of that there is the fact, that building the revolution isn't cheap.
      If 50 Pounds is the amount required to sustain and develop a genuine revolutionary party then so be it. The resources you provide help mobilizing fellow communists and after all that's what it's all about, isn't it.
      Keep up the good work comrades.

    It's funny to hear communists from UK. Really. Can the monarchy be a form of dictatorship of proletariat?

    • @alexrandell5559
      @alexrandell5559 6 месяцев назад

      Obviously not, the monarchy is an outdated feudal relic, which exists to be a reserve weapon of reaction for the capitalist class, we want to abolish the monarchy and overthrow the entire capitalist state, and replace it with a genuinely democratic workers republic, i.e. the dictatorship of the proletariat
