- hey there!
in this video, I've tried to show you, not only why russian is a confusing language for foreigners, but why english is also a confusing language for russians. I've provided some tips how pro-russian learners could build sentences and even more!
enjooooy
the video is made just to have fun and to show that learning different languages could be confusing

I’m such a short casual review I’ve learned so much about Russian and even my own native English. I have no idea why we drop the article for dinner. We do the same for breakfast and lunch. Thank you 🙏
You're well done. I am a native russian. And I am excited that my native language so many people in different countries study it. I wish more more and more achievements in learning languages. Have a good one
awwww, that's so sweet! thank you so much! I do appreciate your support 🙏🏻 терпенье и труд всё перетрут 😅
@@dannydelvis I would like to you tall more about your way of learning languages, please in the near future

@@dannydelvis not to mention what a stunning gorgeous diva you are🤩
I started to learn russian, ( eh, more trying to learn) about 6 months ago with duolingo in combination with a book course, its a beautiful language, but damn a hard one aswell. Either way, i slowly seem to make some progress and will keep at it. 😁 👋
That’s awesome! 🔥🔥 Step by step you will see the progress, just stay consistent and don’t be that much hard on yourself, cause Russian is extremely difficult 🥸🥸 good luck with learning the language 🍀🍀
@@dannydelvis thanks for your encouragment🤗
I’ve been trying to learn Russian as well! It’s great! But it’s so hard!! Def cried here and there in the past few weeks/months 😂
Yeah i've been slowly going at it for like 3 years. It's not going very well heh. 11 months later, are you still making progress?
@@Aeduo yeah, but its a steep path but i am still at it and hopefully get it one day. Listening goes better than speaking. I hope to get back to russia one day, i am sure that will help a lot with learning the language.
You aswell good luck with the studies👍

Небольшой нюанс - артикль "а" не ставится перед регулярными приёмами пищи в английском: dinner, breakfast и т.п.
Супер, спасибо 🙏🏼
"A dinner":
This phrase is typically used when referring to a specific, individual meal. For example, "I had a dinner at a nice restaurant last night."
"Dinner":
This is often used without an article when talking about the concept of the evening meal in a general sense. For example, "We usually have dinner at 7 PM."@@dannydelvis
@@ilgizarrr thank u for such a nice explanation, I do appreciate it ☺🌟
This was so nice. When you were explaining that you have a word in Russian for the day before yesterday and the next day, you expressed how I feel English looks crippled without having replaced the word nudiustertian(the day before yesterday) which is no longer in modern use. In my mother tongue Kikuyu in Kenya, we have those words i.e. 'iyo' and 'ira'. Now drama comes when you check Kiswahili. From today it has words for 6 days before and 6 days after. kesho [tomorrow], kesho kutwa [day after tomorrow], mtondo [three days away], mtondogoo [four days away], kitondo [five days away], kitondo jogoo [six days away] and a similar set for the past days. I might start learning Russian one day currently io studio italiano sul Duolingo.
started to learning russian recently, being from poland and i see quite a few pleasant similarities. its a nice journey till now
I have a polish friend, and I do love when we share some words in our native languages, cause there are so many similar words and expressions. it feels like we have the same vibe haha
Очень интересно! Я Американец, и изучаю русский язык течение три года. Самостоятельно. Спасибо большое за видео. Good luck learning your other languages! 🙌🏾
в течение трёх лет*
I have been doing Russian on Duolingo for about six months. The strangest things to have come up so far:
Мой олень больше не читает газеты.
Наш крокодил сейчас в театре.
Душа важна, но сейчас голова болит.
lol, that's cringe 😬 I feel so sorry haha
Started learning russians im close to section 2 im an native english speaker im took a break then came back close to almost 100% when i do a lesson.
I just fihished one module in English, but off notification, cause this bird playing on my nervous
lol 😂😂😂
Greetings from Russia! It’s very nice that other people learn our language. Good luck cutie. And I'll give you some practice, translate:
Я вижу тебя впервые, но ты мне понравился. Надеюсь ты продолжишь учить русский язык.
Русский - мой родной язык 😝
5:58 This is just wrong. 'Надеть' = "to put on (something)", and 'одеть' = "to dress (somebody)"
that's right, it's supposed to be to dress somebody 👻 thanks for your comment 🌟
@@dannydelvis don't lisrten to them, they are душнила

What?
@@dumdum8538 dont mind, just drunken talks.
Are you Russian or American?
I’m Russian 🔥
@@dannydelvis I see you like it
Was this a political Geopolitical question. I think these are the kind of people who should discuss hard issues between America and Russia. So composed. Perfetto!
