Thats a unique mindset to take. Putting yourself in tough situations on purpose to see what you're made of. It helps your learn from your mistakes and start turning your weaknesses into strength. I love it.
Totally agree! You'll definitely learn a lot faster when you're in the fire!
I feel like the caliber of your gym is largely going to depend on who your trainer is, and I really like listening to Bryant talk through it! You can tell he's got experience to back it up! Thanks for sharing Vince!
Totally agree! It's 100% on the leadership of the gym; they really set the tone! Glad that I was able to find Sabre when I moved up to this area!

@@LifeWithVinceLuu No problem!

Appreciate the support my man!
This is happening to me now and before. Like I sux. Even at white belt I didn't compete due to I'm not good enough to compete. And there were some really good white belt. The only thing I have for me is pressure, man you gave strong grips. You mad me work . That's all I got. Now I'm a blue. Like what really. At one point I wanted to give me belt back. And stay 4 stripe until I felt I was good enough to receive a blue. No I still feel the same. What give. Aww.
I like the mix up you're having allowing others to use your channel as a platform to share their expertise. Interesting stuff here, Vince. I'm not too familiar with the Sabre Jiu Jitsu world.
Appreciate the support my man! Do you do BJJ too?!
@@LifeWithVinceLuu no but it’s popular amongst some of my friends for sure!
If I was a blue belt and if I hit a plateau I definitely would get the blues, but that’s simply because all plateaus are interesting. I also liked how he mention how the blue belt is more of an offensive skill set to more of a defensive one.
Appreciate the support my man!
Seems like a great instructor.
He really is! Appreciate the support, Kelvin!
it is possible my coach doesnt give me my blue blet because of the so called blue belt blues ?

Hey vince, great info from him.
What belt is the beginning, is it blue ?
And what is the highest ranking, how long does it take to advance in each level
Appreciate the support my friend! I'll put this question in one of my upcoming vlogs!
