You should go into the camper conversion business, great to watch professionals at work.
It wouldn't hurt to install a GAP under the Fridge of about 2 inches to Buffer against the heater. Just cut a 2x2 to fit on both sides of space and attach a piece of plywood to them.

I did one of those diesel heaters myself… good god the pain! The terrible English translation of the instruction manual, the way your heater has one of 3 different control panels, different to the one in the instruction manual, the way all the hardware is so cheap it doesn’t work, and how your exhaust accidentally fills your cabin with fumes. Fun fun fun!
@@SamHarrisonMusic To be fair. With a decent amount of research, the chinese heaters are just as good as the real thing. Main tips are, stay away from the 2kw one and go for the 5kw or 8kw. And never use the silicone/ flexible fuel line as it is a nightmare for air bubbles. Hard fuel line is best.
I did everything right and had no problems with mine. It's only in a little combo van, so becomes an oven in about 5 minutes lol.
@@adamholmes91 Once I figured mine out, I was fine - I just had to watch a lot of youtube to fill in the gaps in the manual. I got the good fuel line with my kit, but the kits are variable. I had to buy fresh hose clamps, as the kit ones didn't work. I swapped the exhaust and the intake position and it worked fine. I have the 2kw, but it's too hot for me on the lowest setting lmao. I just sleep naked and have a tropical heatwave van...

Your Diesel heater uses a flame..... You Must install a Roof Vent to let the Heat carry the Carbon Monoxide out of the Vehicle.... and you Must install a Fresh Air Vent as low as possible to the floor of the Van to let Fresh Air in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you are going to fit a diesel heater, you MUST have a floor drop hole for ventilation.
Inside the cupboard, next to the heater.
This is to get rid of fumes, and to ensure you don't die from carbon monoxide poisoning.
When you are cutting the hole, make sure you don't hit anything like the fuel tank or lines, or any wires underneath the van.
4.44 Spot the mistake.....carpet should be turned over!!!

You can run those diesel heaters on used engine oil. Just make sure you service /clean the unit regularly. Save yourself a few $$ depending on your time/money ratio.

Where you guys went wrong, was you forgot to flip the template too.. you flipped the floor.. but didnt flip the template, so when you flipped it back to place it in the van, it was the opposite way round. 😂😂

I had a dream about you three. We were at a party and these guys came in with guns and started threatening people. We were standing by the door and Al managed to get it open a crack and said he'd go and ring the police and got out without being seen. We were there for hours being held hostage, I managed to get out the door without being seen also, and Al's in the hallway outside pissing around and taking drugs when he was supposed to be going to the police.
