The SUNS have no chemistry and no point guard.
The players they have don't really fit together it doesn't matter who the coach is.
@@KurtisWhiteDisagree. The coach is the exact person who makes players play differently. Whether he succeeds or not however, is based on his ability as a tactician and leader. But he's for sure the head of the snake. It does go both ways, the players do need to buy into his schemes and philosophies, but it absolutely comes from the coach first, 100%

If Budz can bring a culture of defense from this shallow roster then PHX will be just fine. I suggest he start scouring the AZ desert for a shiny bottle to rub and make it his first wish then the second is taking a zero off Beal's salary and he can save the last one for way to get father time to treat KD the way it has LeBron. Piece of cake!
The players definitely are most at fault however a great coach can and will make a difference

Too many players today, especially at the superstar level, are too coddled, pampered, spoiled. Boycott the Suns for extreme wussieness from their top players. They deserve it.
No defense and a stand around offense. That is a coaching problem.
Agreed. But there are limits to what a roster can do defensively. The current PHX group isn't capable of playoff defense on a level that will get them to a conf finals or beyond
I don't know why it's these people's jobs to report sports and they don't have a clue. Vogel had zero offense and so did Kevin Young. No movement whatsoever. Just pass the ball to one of the three and let them do ISO hero ball. The offense looked like all the other players were afraid to shoot and their job was to get the ball to the small 3. That's 3 on 5 and 2 on 5 because they weren't all 3 in the game all the time. Metu should have been developed Goodwin should have been developed. But you can't develop players if you tell them not to shoot. Hell Azebuka should have been developed because Eubanks already had his chance. He was showing more promise when they let him play than Eubanks.
Remember when everybody talked about OKC being the place young players need to go to be developed. Oh poor OKC they suck but if you want to develop a player send him there. Well poor little OKC beat our butts every time we played them and they look to be going to the Western conference finals barring all the Luca favoritism.
I don't think it was that Frank yelled, its that he never established himself as that sort of coach. He is typically known for letting the players do what they want, so when he raised his voice it came off as insincere, right or wrong.
I agree with Wolf. These players make so much money. Too much money! Ticket prices and merch are expensive as hell and these guys can't even do the fans that spend their hard earned money a solid and give it their all? These Durant rumors that he ignored Vogel for months should really piss the fans off.
It seems like KD gets all the blame, so just trade him .

It was 75% coaching. He’s a horrible coach. Did you guys watch the games? Did you see the guys out of position the high pick and roll that’s all they ran.
This isn't the time to be politically correct. From the Coaching side Vogel dropped the ball, it's pretty simple. We can't go far with him and his style.
The players couldn't have been more excited to work with him at start of season, do you remember? He's not the guy..
He will make all the difference in the world. Everything rises or falls on leadership. 🙏
