How does malaria impact children?

If you lose a child, you lose a generation. Almost 600,000 people died from malaria in 2023, according to the @WHO World Malaria Report 2024. Most of these deaths were young children in Africa. However, there is hope. There is hope because of innovations ranging from novel treatments to new vaccines and improvements in other preventative measures like bed nets. Let’s come together to finally defeat malaria. It’s our responsibility. #Malaria #AMR
