Thank you for putting together a clear, to the point video. The rubber gasket on the oil drain plug- are we supposed to replace that every so often? Some cars you have to replace the gasket with every oil change, like a Subaru I used to own.
@ so I just got mine about 2 weeks ago, topped it off because it seemed a touch low. It a 2017 with 75 k so I don’t know if it was just a touch low from over time or if it was something I should look into. I am going to keep an eye on it over the next few weeks
Very clear and extremely helpful. Just got this car and i feel its important to be informed on the basics of maintaining ur own vehicle. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy the car. Definitely built before plug-in hybrid vehicles were even a thing.
Sons got one and we changing the oil in the morning, THANK YOU, GREAT VIDEO!
Thanks!
Short & sweet- good description and great job. Even supplied filter part number. Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Nice! No crossmembers or anything below the filter. I hate it when the engineers do that!
Great video! Simple and to the point.
Glad it was helpful!

It wouldn't hurt to replace it every few oil changes. Though I have never replaced one proactively on any of my vehicles and I've never had a problem.
Excellent video, thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you! This video rocks

Do you notice with yours that you have to top off the coolant every once in awhile or are your levels staying good?
My coolant level stayed put. If yours is dropping you have a leak somewhere.

I hope you didn’t use 5w-20 on your car if so. If it’s having problems take it in to the service center
Huh? 5w-20 is what it needs. It's even printed on the oil fill cap on the engine. Haven't had any problems and don't expect any.
So easy a chicken can do it....chicken cam
