    Pretty much all cultures ferment a lot of their foods traditionally. almost every single high starch or grain product was fermented, for example porridge was placed in a lard coated draw for weeks and left to ferment. Other than that you have stuff like fufu, injera, idli, dosa, nuruk, kishk, koji, ogi, ragi etc. for animal products most cultures had some form of kumis/yoghurt/kefir/clabber, and something most people don't realise is prior to refrigeration, a lot of the meat we ate was weeks or months old, essentially aged in lard (fermented).
    I think we require bacteria rich foods because of our origins as scavengers, using tools to consume high bone marrow and brains that other species couldn't get out of the skull or large bones of animals like mammoths without tool use. If it's something that made us evolve then we would still require it today, (bacteria and high amounts of cholesterol / sat fat) which we do. it makes sense why so much is solved by a bacteria-rich primal diet because even if most people are consuming plenty of saturated fat, the bacteria is the missing link.

      Well said. Aajonus once talked about a tribe being really happy once they found the corpse of a Rhino I believe. The meat was fermented at that point, yet they still feasted on it. Might be that our ancestors stumbled upon these situations frequently.

    Been consuming almost exclusively 'rotten' milk, blood and organs. Not even using a refrigerator anymore since I don't see the point in it. I feel a consistent elevated sense of calmness and euphoria. A natural high where I feel in the moment 24/7.
    Since I've been in this state it's so easy to tell most people are anxious all the time. As if they're running on nervous energy or something is biochemically imbalanced. I'm so thankful I get to understand what it means to actually feel normal

    Bacteria are both necessary and unnecessary. What's important is to focus on the function of different types of bacteria. I believe the function of the liver is also a key element in obtaining the right bacteria. It's fascinating that we are all unraveling the secrets of the human body together🫡

    Wow really nice u sent this coz I was thinking if a new raw meat to try today specifically to obtain a certain bacteria.
    Herbivores can digest cellulose due to a bacteria in their rumen being able to break down cellulose. So I was thinking… what if I consume the raw rumen of an ox for example and take in this bacteria that would be found in the rumen, then this bacteria would be in my gut so surely it could break down cellulose in my body too.
    It sounds miraculous to be able to digest cellulose as a human and I need to research whether it would be able to do this but has had me thinking about it today.

    • @ExcellentHealth
      @ExcellentHealth  10 месяцев назад

      Although this sounds like a good idea, it is the equivalent of trying to convert a car into a boat by making it float and adding a propeller. Cows do not just break down cellulose using bacteria. All of their chemical digestion is geared toward breaking down cellulose. Ours isn't. Why not just consume what is in the end of the small intestine? The cow has already broken an alright percentage of the cellulose down at that point. You could also consume the cow's feces.

    • @denizkenger52
      @denizkenger52 10 месяцев назад

      @@ExcellentHealth well I wouldn’t wanna eat the feces seems disgusting ngl.
      And i would want to have a way of breaking down cellulose because i mainly eat grass eating animals so the nutrients would be from grass for the parts i get from animals, but being able to digest all of a celery for example rather than juice it because we can’t digest the rest would be very good for those days where we do no meat due to heal/recover our liver which is tired from processing protein in meat. So we could get more nutrients compared to usual on those days as we are missing meat because honestly those days without meat so only fat, dairy, eggs, vegetable juices, maybe a fruit, it doesn’t feel as fulfilling so to be able to add a new source of nutrients would be good imo.

      Ferment your pasteurized milk with kefir. You just sit it on the counter a couple days, you'll build a healthy bacterial culture in it while reducing the lactose (but the fat globules will still be changed from processing).
      Then go out and start looking for better sources.

    Irrelevant to this video but I have a question regarding Casein Protein in dairy. Do you consume a lot of dairy such as kefir and milk. I have been thinking whether I should cut down a bit as I drink around 500ml-1000ml per day of kefir.
