Venture Bros is one of those shows I deem “one of a kind”. It’s one of those shows where I break out the old “nothing like it before or since” lines. It has a tone that is comedic and very much a parody of existing works such as Johnny Quest and Scooby Doo and other old-timey serialized mystery action stories, but it’s also shockingly brutal in an existential crisis kind of way.
It was sadly overlooked for most of its existence by the brass, and unfortunately got canceled in 2020. But maybe it can see a revival. Many shows have seen revivals that died long ago, so it’s not that big of a stretch that we can see a return of the Venture Bros.

Brock Samson was also a really good inclusion in _Poker Night [at the Inventory] 2_ .

That's right, he was in that game. Man, it was surreal seeing that. Granted I've only seen clips and haven't played the game myself, but still.

@@agentjuicecartoons He played off of everyone else real well. Even though there was less visual variety and color in the character selection as opposed to _1_ , the characters' personalities and the increased dialogue depth more than made up for it.
Brock almost came off as the dad of the group. Seen it all, done most of it, been through hell so frequently he's on a first-name basis with the gatekeepers, but still at least quietly caring. Just also jaded and a mite temperamental.
