I am very sorry to interrupt ma’a. Your teaching is very nice. I love and I learn a lot from you. Just want to say one thing - If I am not wrong I think it should be - “ Is” the book written by you not “was”. Because “Do” present tense. So be verb “is” will be here not “was”.

Mam, I'm from Bangladesh. I've a question to you. That is, the passive of the 2nd sentence you wrote, there why did you start the sentence with (was)? Instead of (is)? As the active sentence started by (do), so that means, it was simple present tense. So I think, it should be started with (is)? Wasn’t it?

In active form the question is Do so the answer will be Is... I think 🙏
"Do you read the book" is in present indefinite tense
Active- Do you read the book? (Interrogative form in Simple Present tense)
You read (do read) the book.
Passive- The book is read by you.
Finally in Interrogative form...
