Making Homemade Ice Cream with 5 Ingredients. It's a pretty fun and easy recipe that the kids can do. Combine in a small ziplock bag: 1 cup of half/half milk, 1 tsp artificial vanilla extract, 1 tbls sugar and zip up with all the air pushed out of the bag. Put at least a tray and a half of ice into a large ziploc bag with 1/4 cup salt and place the small ziploc bag in there and shake it for at least 6 minutes or until the cream gets hard. Rinse the smaller bag off with water to avoid getting salt in your ice cream when you dump it into a bowl or just spoon it all out. Add some toppings and enjoy!
