I really love the concept of Tyrannosaurus filling a different niche as it grows, it's like growing through the tiers to become an apex. Gonna be interesting competing with the younger ones as mid tiers
@@alexs29 Older juveniles and sub adults of apex species should pretty much always be faster than the adults, otherwise it's gonna be really annoying to play as them in a really innecessary way, like even with Dibble, it reaches it's max speed at fully grown and it is one of the main reasons why I don't play it, if it's speed got to around 37kmph in it's sub adult stages and got lowered back to 36 at full grown it would have been better imo.
That’s the wonders of niche partitioning, it’s something really unique to Tyrannosaurids, but I’m sure there is a chance other large theropods also participated in it throughout their lives
I gotta say, while the austro animations look wonderfully naturalistic I absolutely hate how wiggly and boneless the tail is in some of them. This is a dromaeosaur, stiff, counterbalancing tails are one of their defining features, meanwhile here it looks almost like it serves no purpose and is just being lugged around like dead weight. I really hope they tone it down a bit, this and the hands being weirdly detached from the wings are the two things keeping me from absolutely loving its design as opposed to considering it simply "okay".

He said “And remember, there is no cure” at the end of the devlog and that makes me think about the “Happy Halloween” video from a year or two ago. So if I had to guess it’s gonna be like infection but we’re dinosaurs, which has me hyped
Tyrannosaurus having very different stages of life is real life from what we think we know. They had quite a slender build and long legs until a massive growth spurt in the teen years, becoming more stocky and powerful. Until mid 20's when they fully matured
Ngl I’d love if dryo got the ability to expand and customize its burrow when burrowing comes out,I’d also love if they made it so bucking was more so a mini game rather than random chance or stamina based

I was on tonight and noticed the fish are flying again, but that's okay, lol. Kind of fun to peck an elite fish out of the air as ptera. I hope it's not too long before we see at least maia.
Cerato buff is not OP just to smaller creatures, I don't understand why they try to underplay it to the people who play their game, as they're the only people asking questions. A baby Cera with full bacteria can full charge bite a full grown Teno once and make it puke.
On some old screenshots Evrima Rex was 9 tons, which makes sense for a T.Rex, 6 tons is way too small, it'd basically be a slightly bigger Tarbosaurus.
@@The_Primitive It was always fast, even in legacy it was 30kmph. Plus like I said it just doesn't make sense for it to be the same weight as Stego while it towers over it. It's also visibly larger than Deino. There was another screenshot of it standing next to Deino and it was so much bigger that I wouldn't be surprised if they made it 10 tons.
I don’t entirely understand the disabling of migration zones? Can someone please explain to me why they would disable such a fundamental part of “keeping the island dynamic”.
Lets be real guys. Nocturnal mutation should be merged with night vision mutation. Not only that but they should have been a free passive and locked for nocturnal dinosaurs cause they are nocturnal
Tbf there’s only a few months left in this year but all it needs is its sparring and it’s ready is what the devs said in the video. That could be before the end of this year or the start of next year assuming it isn’t a quick process

because carnivores use it to not just ceratopsians and its kinda there entire combat mechanic and its a core gameplay mechanic that multiple dinos will use not just 1 also some people dont use omni pounce so like? people will use the mechanics given to them differently some love the mechanics others dont
